It was a pleasure to welcome Secretary of State for Science, Innovation and Technology, @peterkyle to officially open our Molecular Sciences Building last week
The Molecular Science Building @unibirmingham will allow 500+ scientists to carry out research in vital industries like energy, healthcare & the environment.
@peterkyle opened the new facility earlier this week, where he received a lab tour & met with local stakeholders.

Brilliant to work with @emilymeekel, Johny, @stecanossa, @EllaMSchmidt on this. It is amazing to see how they are able to interpret highly complex data on rather complicated MOFs. Beautiful crystals made at @UoBChemistry by the very talented Sarah and Alex.
