Russian Kosmos 2612 and ICEYE-X36 (providing Ukraine military support) are now in perfect sync with each other. The Russian military satellite is intentionally stalking and tracking the Western radar satellite. Keeping a satellite "bumper-to-bumper" in this manner allows Russia to intercept or jam data transmissions, physically inspect Western technology, or quickly pivot to execute a kinetic or non-kinetic anti-satellite (ASAT) attack with very little warning or fuel expenditure.
Kosmos 2612 executed a series of highly precise, fuel-heavy maneuvers to force itself into a "coplanar" orbit—matching ICEYE-X36's exact altitude (~555 km), speed, and inclination (~97.8°). The ICEYE-X36 satellite is giving the Ukraine military support.

What began in the late 1990s as a collaborative multinational effort has, as of this month (October 2026), produced a contracted fleet of 623 vehicles whose planned specialist variants have been cancelled and whose second tranche has been abandoned.
The platform that was once expected to form the spine of the Army’s mechanised infantry and to contribute to NATO’s two-division commitment now occupies a narrower supporting role while the Army continues to operate an ageing tracked inventory whose principal replacements remain late, incomplete or subject to residual safety concerns.
This is not primarily a political story. It is an Army story.

EXCLUSIVE: Elon Musk came to Donald Trump with the plan to throttle Ukraine’s use of SpaceX’s Starshield satellite internet network, sources have told the Telegraph.
The tech billionaire made the proposal during the US President’s row with Volodymyr Zelensky over strikes on Russian oil refineries.
‘The reality is that they were both in it,’ a senior source said of Musk’s and Trump’s involvement.
But after a night of carnage in Kyiv caused by the slowdown, Musk was alarmed about the possibility of adverse consumer reaction in Europe.
The SpaceX boss then proceeded to tweet, blaming the US administration, and ultimately, President Trump for authorising the slowdown.
‘He tweeted out that he was innocent and that it was the US administration that did it,’ the source said.

So much ammunition for reporters when asking Trump questions. Here’s a few:
1. if the war is “unwinnable” why do you keep helping Russia?
2. you don’t criticize Putin and his intentional attacks on civilians, is that because you think civilians are a legitimate target in war?
3. if an ocean of separation means we shouldn’t care about Europe, then you clearly shouldn’t have attacked Iran, since that’s even farther away from the US, is that right?
4. why have you continued to say the US gave Ukraine $350 billion when that is totally false and you’ve been corrected many times? Why are you being dishonest?
None of these questions or anything like them will be asked, of course. Which is utterly shameful.

A horrifying story of how the russians torture people.
Donetsk doctor Ihor Kirianenko was 57 when the russians seized him on the road. They tied him to a metal table, stretching his arms and legs like on a cross. Then they attached wires to his fingers and toes, shocking his genitals and ears.
They broke his ribs and fingers, cut his face to the bone, and pulled out his teeth with pliers. “I screamed, and they laughed: ‘Don’t scream so loud — there’s a kindergarten above us. You’ll scare the children,’” Hromadske reports.
After the torture, they brought him home. Ihor stood barefoot, his face shattered, wrapped in a plastic bag. The russians searched for wiretaps, smashed his antique shop, overturned furniture, and stole his equipment. Then they arrested his wife.
After that, they took him back to the torture chamber. On New Year’s Eve, the guards got drunk. “They knocked out all my teeth. Pulled my canines out with pliers. I heard a crunch and blacked out. When I came to, they were kicking me, breaking ribs and fingers. They were drunk and didn’t feel their own strength,” Ihor recalls.
They brought him back to the cell, but the guards refused to take him — he was covered in blood. They feared he would die. A doctor was called. He looked at Ihor and said: “He won’t die overnight, don’t worry.” They forced Ihor to sign a statement saying he had fallen down the stairs. Blood dripped onto the paper as he signed.
The cell reeked of mold; rats scurried between holes in the walls. The food was ground fish with bones and scales. Ihor’s fingers healed crookedly, without bandages. In court, he testified about the torture, but the judge ruled: “No evidence of torture established.” He was sentenced to 12 years in prison.
In the Makiivka colony, he refused seven times to take a russian passport. During roll calls, he always responded in Ukrainian: “Ihor Volodymyrovych.” For that, they beat him.
On August 15, 2025, he finally returned to Ukraine. “People came out to greet us. An old man in underwear with crooked legs waved a flag. A grandmother began to cross herself. People smiled and cried at the same time.”
Ihor spent seven years in captivity. He is now 64. He says he just wants to live.
