Slichot at the Kotel without the late-night commute? Yes please! 🤍
If you’re coming to Jerusalem for Slichot this Elul, here’s a little travel hack: make a night of it. 👀
Instead of figuring out how to get home after Slichot, stay overnight at the Beit Shmuel Hotel and either head to Slichot at the Kotel yourself or join their Slichot Tour, offered as part of their Sunday-Wednesday Elul package.
They also have a gorgeous event hall overlooking the Old City for Bar & Bat Mitzvahs, weddings, Sheva Brachot, and other Jewish celebrations.
📌 Save this for your next Jerusalem trip!

Chabad really needs to filter who they allow to represent them as Rabbis.
There are some incredibly selfless Rabbis who will outdo themselves everyday in connecting Jews to their heritage & then there are those who invite antisemitic misogynistic nonJewish influencers to Israel.

The Land of Israel has been known by many names throughout history, including Canaan, Judah, Judea, Israel, and Palestine, each marking different eras of peoples, kingdoms, and empires that shaped it. Yet through it all, Jewish presence in the land stretches back to biblical times, and the connection between the Jewish people and this land has endured across exile, return, and centuries of change, remaining central to Jewish identity worldwide. What does this long, layered history actually reveal when you zoom out? Watch the full story to see the bigger picture.

The survivors are becoming fewer. The deniers are getting louder. @DovForman lights a candle, and asks you to do the same. 🕯️

In Israel, it is estimated that Hezbollah has carried out about 200 launches since yesterday, around 80 of which did not cross into Israeli territory.

In today's bomb shelter experience: Met a guy who speaks 7 languages fluently and an elderly woman who made aliyah from Moldova years ago and spoke about how incredible it is to be able to speak Yiddish freely without worrying about antisemites.
I love my country🇮🇱✨️

אולי חשוב להזכיר: התקהלות אסורה גם במקלטים… אז חג פורים והכל, אבל המסיבות האלה עם מאות אנשים עלולות לעלות לנו ביוקר. הישמרו. נחגוג אחרי.
Celebrating Purim far away from my wife and one month old. Yet I couldn’t be prouder to serve my country during such a historic moment, reliving the Purim story.

Since becoming a dad, I discovered that I am not a fan of the new Uncle Moishy. I just can’t imagine a different Uncle Moishy from my childhood.

Thank you Hashem for enabling all of the victims of the October 7th massacre to return home for burial in Eretz Yisrael.
May we merit seeing the return of Ron Arad, Guy Hever and Yehuda Katz, the three missing IDF soldiers, very soon.

Paid maternity leave in Israel is only 3.5 months. It's a joke.
Mothers shouldn't be forced to leave their babies at such horrific gans in order to make a living for their families.
Last night, the world saw the first battle to shake the Iranian regime from its grasp on power.
See, if June of 2025 has taught us anything, it is that President Trump and his administration aren’t conventional.
What seemed like a rogue Israeli operation was actually very coordinated. And the use of headlines as a weapon was on point.
Last night, the anticipation was so high that even Iran believed an attack was imminent.
It immediately deployed its army to conduct its emergency procedures. Shutting down its airspace, deploying its defense forces, and sending its MiG-29s to patrol its airspace.
Right there, on full display, we saw how Iran planned to defend itself. Now they have no time to change that strategy.
So the next time you read a headline convincing you that the Americans or Israelis are planning one thing or another… maybe take it with a grain of salt.

Thank you Hashem 🩷
@ChaimSmierc
371 days since boarding a plane to fly to a country that I had never been to before. No family waiting. No backup plan. Just my suitcases, my @NefeshBNefesh name tag, and my faith in Hashem.
1 year later, despite the hardships, I am confident it was the best decision of my life💙
