ENCOUNTER is a Young Adult novel, Grades 7 & Up -- in which the "Up" includes adults who are ready for some adventure, pondering, and walking alongside youth living out their encounters with diversity, friendship, and "the way things have always been."
Author Kathy Beckwith grew up on an Oregon farm. After college, she and her husband Wayne went to India with the Peace Corps to work in village horticulture. Later, a boarding school in South India became home to their family. Kathy's website is kathybeckwith.com.
