So in regards with the stuff going down with Aniimo….im against Gen Ai usage without a doubt. However, the game itself is free. It’s fun, it’s cute, and honestly majority of games these days are using it. It’s it bad? Yes. My thing is, a lot of tools these days are being bought out by AI companies. Chances are in the near future a lot of games are going to have some form of it being used…that’s the painful reality. As someone who’s an artist and wanting to be a game dev, I can confirm any game I make in the future won’t use Gen Ai. However; I’m not going to toss a game out because of it unless I spent money to buy it. It’s a free game. If I buy a game I expect it to not have Gen Ai touching it. Free games, I do kinda expect it so companies can semi cut corners if they need to for budget costs. That’s just my opinion. This is just my opinion on it. Yes it’s opening a nasty can of worms, but honestly it could be so much worse. I haven’t really seen solid evidence of the gen ai usage, so I’m going to keep playing it till solid evidence is posted from the devs…
