"Should've just abandoned one of the major campaign points that drew White Americans out in droves from every corner of the country to vote for him"
Do you even think before posting?
Young men, are you a:
Republican staffer? Democrats want you imprisoned.
Young father in the oilfield? Democrats want you out of work and destitute.
Fresh grad with a STEM degree? If Democrats haven’t shipped your job overseas, they will replace you with unqualified foreigners

There is no “to the Right” of Trump. It’s not real. It’s purely an exercise in abstraction.
Turns out you can build an advanced manufacturing facility if the government actually tells you to do & state regulators get the fuck out of the way.

Step inside our new 60,000-square-foot solid rocket motor facility. Among the most modern solid rocket motor facilities in the world, it brings together advanced automation, digital manufacturing and skilled employees to double current capacity while cutting production lead time in half.

Whether a Paul Ryan-type or an "extreme right" type, everyone on the Right thinks their faction will benefit if the GOP loses badly. They all think the GOP will instantly transform into what they demand with a loss.
But that's not how politics works. People like Tillis will be even more irrelevant after the midterms, regardless of the result. These types weren't strengthened after 2018, 2020, or 2022. They continued to be diminished with each successive election.
As the DSA shows, you win by getting your candidates elected, not cheering on the sidelines for the other party to win.
Outgoing RINO Senator @ThomTillis gleefully shows a Politico reporter the countdown clock on his phone for what he says is guaranteed Republican defeat in the upcoming midtermS:
"This thing that's going to happen 20 days from now that I have on my countdown clock as whoop ass."

An evisceration of CFP expansion from CMU coach Matt Drinkall, who says college football is on a "downward spiral" toward a "dumpster fire" and that executives will "prostitute" the sport for financial gain until "people stop caring, just like they did with boxing in the 20s."
"I don't trust this boy with my daughter, but I won't do anything about it because her mother might divorce me"
I really can't give much life advice because I've made plenty of mistakes; but I can give two pieces of advice for sure, get married to a woman you love and have children with her.
You will never regret that decision.
I think you mean "politically inept"; the average Blue State Republican has no idea how to win elections nor do they have any idea how politics even works.
Their entire belief system is a hyper-reaction to Democrat policy, which is not wrong in a vacuum; but it's not something you win with.
Take note of how the most successful GOP resurgence in New York, in the last two decades, was led by the surgical campaigning of Lee Zeldin & his collection of center-right Republicans who largely avoided counter-signalling Trump at the same time.
Meanwhile your average Red State Republican reinforces the GOP control of the state more or less at every turn minus a few special elections every few years that Democrats manage to "win" because they're on a Thursday in January.

Prediction: in ~15 years, a law will pass that redirects social security payments into Trump accounts. Everyone will be mandated to have one and pay into it, with stipulations on how you borrow against it / withdraw. It's the Singapore model and it'll save our federal budget. The government will still honor the legacy social security recipients out of pocket for ~80 years afterwards before the full transition when no one alive has paid into social security.
