It is with profound sadness that Vitality has learned of the passing of our member, Elizabeth βTsontsoβ Moselakgomo.
Elizabeth was reported missing after going for a run in Kempton Park on Wednesday, 9 September 2026. Following several days of uncertainty and heartbreak for her family, friends and the broader Vitality running community, her identity was formally confirmed Monday 14 September 2026.
Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with Elizabethβs family, her child, friends, loved ones and everyone whose lives she touched. We cannot begin to imagine the pain they are experiencing, and we stand with them during this incredibly difficult time.
Today, we remember Elizabeth for who she was: an avid runner and a valued member of the Vitality community. She showed up for the community through her participation in Vitality events, including the Vitality Run Series, where she recently completed the Wanderers 21km.
We ask the running community and the public to keep Elizabethβs family and loved ones in their thoughts during this time.
Elizabeth, you will not be forgotten
