🎥 New Surgical Technique: Complex Meniscus Root Repairs + Fertilized ACL Reconstruction
A challenging knee case featuring medial & lateral meniscus root repairs, fertilized quadriceps tendon ACL reconstruction, and knotless fixation with Arthrex SutureLoc technology.
In addition to literature supporting the BioACL™ technique’s ability to significantly decrease tunnel widening in ACL reconstruction (ACLR),[1] a peer-reviewed study reported high rates of return to preinjury activity and low graft rerupture rates at 2 years postoperative.[2]
The BioACL technique uses customized concentrated platelet-rich plasma from bone marrow aspirate mixed with autologous bone and AlloSync™ Pure demineralized bone matrix to augment bone tunnels created during ACLRs, using the patient’s own biology to support healing potential.

I took an oppurtunity to come to @doctdeer ASPN conference this weekend. We are in different fields of medicine but I’m amazed at what he and others have built. Tim has been a mentor to me in my career and all West Virginians should be proud of what he has done in his field and the fact he chose to stay in WV. It has been outstanding watching him in his element this weekend!!!! Chesapeakestrong!!!
