From someone who gave one of the funniest performances I’ve ever seen, in “As Bees in Honey Drown,” at the same theater. The reveal of the iconic broads JS-C—and her character—had used to build her persona…ah, queer goosebumps.

“Both sides are crazy” isn’t a neutral or impartial position when one side is arguing for the oppression and elimination of marginalized people and the other side is arguing for letting people live their lives in peace. It’s just a callous attempt to evade moral integrity.

Journalists: Stop calling fights over human rights culture wars.
While most Democrats support the rights of LGBTQ adults and children, they're struggling to counter a barrage of GOP attacks on LGBTQ people. With measured responses, Democrats are aiming to avoid getting caught up even more in the culture wars. apne.ws/w9cWDHv

Happy to report that at dinner last night Patricia Clarkson walked in wearing a baseball cap (completely recognizable), took it off at the bar, and proceeded to hold court with friends and strangers, like she goddamn deserves. – at Manhattan, NY
