We spoke to practitioners, politicians, and those who have seen the system firsthand.
Australian assisted dying laws are safe, compassionate, and in every state we saw increased palliative care funding.

💷 We can make sure you get a fair say on your pay.
📉 Too often, workers have no voice in the decisions that set their wages and hours.
🗳️ We propose letting employees elect half of their company supervisory board, giving you a seat at the table.
📈 Rents are going up faster than your earnings, making it harder to pay for everything else.
🔑 We support building new homes to drive down rents
🏡 We also want to give tenants more power to negotiate lower rents and better conditions.
💷 You should be able to see who influences policy and politicians.
🗳️ We want new rules so organisations influencing policy are transparent about their donors.
📰 Our paper was covered by @josiahmortimer in @BylineTimes.

We can keep your rent fair and your home in good condition by:
🤝 Creating a national framework for tenants and landlords to negotiate
🔧 Giving you a say over repairs, shared facilities and tenancy terms
📢 Fines for landlords who persistently refuse to engage
🌍 Britain does best when it looks outward.
🤝 A new agreement with partners like EFTA would bring free trade to strengthen our economy, without political integration.
💬 Our Digital and Media Officer, James Curwood, on why this is the best deal for Britain.

Tax doesn't need to be complex, financially unaffordable and destroying local services.
Done right, it can be fair, simple and sustainable. That's what replacing Stamp Duty & Council Tax with a single flat rate on property value will do.
Britain deserves better.
We want to simplify the tax system to make it easier to understand:
💷 Abolish National Insurance and merge it with Income Tax.
🏡 Simplify property taxes by replacing stamp duty and council tax with a single flat rate on property value

🗳️ Party complaint procedures are broken.
💬 We spoke to people who raised serious issues, only to be ignored or silenced.
⚖️ It is time for an independent, properly funded body to handle party complaints.

I’m pleased to have been able to contribute to this article on some of my experience of party complaints systems. In solidarity with the other party staffers who contributed and to Centre for working to find a solution.

We need to rebuild trust in politics:
🗳️ A voting system which properly reflects the votes cast
💷 A cap on large donations to make sure your donations count
📝 A new independent body to handle complaints within political parties
🦋 We can restore nature on your doorstep, from farmland to local areas.
🌍 Biodiversity loss is damaging soil, wildlife and the land that protects us from floods.
🌿 We propose a national rewilding strategy, giving landowners and communities funding and expert support.
You should have a real say in our politics:
🗳️ A fair voting system where every vote counts
💷 Take big money out of politics by capping political donations
🤝 Devolve power from Westminster closer to communities
We can make sure your water bill pays for water, not profits, by:
💧 Requiring water companies to run as not-for-profit organisations
🚿 Putting all surplus revenue back into lower bills and better services
🛒 Right now, wages are not keeping up with the cost of living
🧑🏭 We can raise pay by introducing collective bargaining
💷 This will give you more power to demand fair pay and better conditions
We can bring your council tax bill down by:
🏠 Scrapping council tax, stamp duty and the bedroom tax for one simple property tax
🏡 Charging a higher rate on empty homes, second homes and offshore owners
🔑 Capping any increase for existing owners until they sell
📅 We need to fix the state pension so it is still there for you and your children.
📉 The current system cannot last and relies on fewer workers paying for more pensioners.
💷 We support linking rises to earnings and building a fund so each generation pays for its own pensions
We can keep your streets safer by:
📚 Guaranteeing literacy, numeracy and vocational training in every prison
💼 Supporting prisoners into work when they are released
🇳🇴 Following Norway by making rehabilitation the main purpose of prison
We can take cannabis out of the hands of gangs and protect you by:
🌿 Legalising cannabis with a safe, regulated supply
🧪 Stopping harmful substances from being added to what people buy
🏥 Using the tax raised to fund NHS addiction treatment
