A request from my math for ElEd class at @CentralCollege. They’ve connected with 3rd-graders at Findley Elem. in @DMschools and need help compiling “care packages” for the students. Please purchase from our Wish List and we pack it up for the students!

A busy day for my @CentralCollege Intro. to Data Science students, as they do some exit-polling connected to #Election2024. Can't wait to see how they analyze the very real data they collect today!
It was a fun Halloween in the math program with a visit by Chewbacca (Erik) and Former @CentralCollege/@CentralDutch Mascot Dragon (Russ)! The dragon did indeed try to teach some calculus...

I found a cool pic of me giving my presentation at MathFest this past August. It went well, around 100 folks in attendance, even though it doesn't seem that way in the photo.
We've started off in the "Teaching Flops" session of talks at @maanow MathFest. Kenny Barrese of @BresciaUC leads off!
Had a great experience coaching and playing at @HawkeyeSoccer yesterday! Futures of the Game camp!
@MaraLiasson, I took my daughter on a tour of @iastate and was excited to see your name! how did you end up being part of ISU?
As a teacher, I'm still human, and affirmations of the positive atmosphere I work hard to create in my classrooms mean a lot to me. I really appreciate the sentiment this @CentralCollege student shared.
I call my exams "Celebrations of Learning" and four of my @CentralCollege ElemEduc students decided to make our final exam an occasion, loved it!
