A team led by Dr. Paolo Annibale (@univofstandrews) published a study in npj Microgravity investigating how simulated microgravity and hypergravity affect β-adrenergic receptor-mediated cAMP signaling in mammalian cells. Using fluorescence biosensors and live-cell imaging, the researchers showed that altered gravity modulates intracellular signaling pathways — contributing to a better understanding of cellular responses under changing physical conditions.
