Someone lied and said things started at 7a (it’s really at 10a) so I got up to cram in a run and I guess it was worth it for the views (also I do NOT miss running along the ocean. Too sticky, too many bugs, sand in weird crevices).

Even running 2 hrs before sunrise isn’t beating the heat and instead I start the day already depleted (but am I still doing it today? Yes).

Parking downtown is so scarce you have to park in the Red Line lane.

It’s very hard to get excited about bike lanes or bollards on the Monon when stuff like this flies with DPW and others involved with ROW permitting. E and W sides of Central from 22nd to 21st now have no sidewalks. Closest signaled crossings? At least a 2 block detour. Le sigh.

Is it a lingering sinus infection (on day 5 of abx)? Is it allergies? Is it the 50° temp swing? Did someone accidentally buy decaf and it’s a lack of caffeine headache? Or is this skull pounding pain behind my eyes just springtime in Indiana?
