Deep appreciation my sister Deputy High Commissioner on Human Rights @Dabokunda for our work together during the last ended week in #Geneva and for your generous hosting.
Participation and addressing the Council on Gender Sterotype and Non-discrimination; our own bilats and then the working session with your teams leading the pork on Women’s (Hanna) and those supporting the special mandate (Federica) were true highlights .
In addition, we had a rich dialogue with special mandates to recieve contributions to the #CSW71 process, centering human rights in the monitoring of the Beijing Platform for Action.
The Friday press conference on impact of food insecurity in the Middle East in view of the crisis in the Straits of Hormuz, brought the meaning of human rights to the daily lives of women and girls.
This week we continue on our feet with the commencement of the @CedawUn session. Our respect to all countries meeting their reporting obligations under this treaty.
