I think the point is they SHOULD have tried BR when that was the popular thing to do. Things would have had to change, but Halo died in a corner while other studios tried things. Sad to see Halo studios go but they definitely did it to themselves.

I'm considering 5 as better than 6 because the story felt a little more tightly kept, and ofc Wesker (Plus I heckin love Chris and Sheva,) but if I was being honest, I'd say 5 and 6 could have been the death of the series if 7 didn't bring it back to horror

So the real point is that it's by far the weakest of any main line game. It's an RE game, so it's going to be better than some random zombie game most likely...But I think OP is making a good point that people are tryna rewrite history as if RE6 wasn't a massive downfall for RE

Yeah I totally feel you. My backlog or games is so large, and I can maybe finish 1 game every 4-6 weeks between job, partner and pets.. And that's IF I feel like gaming after work 😅

Also think anyone telling you they rather play 6 than any other main like title is lying their ass off, which makes it the worst of them.

The fun is/was dependent on it being a coop game, and even then it wasn't that fun for me. Definitely my least enjoyed main line game
