For anyone new arriving from the @WhiteWhaleLabs $50k contest, here's what $CATOSHI is:
The Basics - a $RUSH pair launched on stonkfun, running the 3% rewards tier. every trade of $CATOSHI skims a fee, converts it to $RUSH, and pays it straight to holders pro rata. nothing to claim, it lands in your wallet on its own.
The Flywheel - hold $CATOSHI → get $RUSH → stake $RUSH on satrush → get paid in BTC. only the staking step needs you.
The Supply - 51% was bought at launch so snipers couldn't take it. 50% of total supply was then sent to the satrush treasury. that half earns $RUSH on every trade like any other holder, and the treasury burns all of it. dev holds 1%.
Why it Matters - that donation means every $CATOSHI trade permanently removes $RUSH from circulation. catoshi accounts for roughly 6% of all $RUSH ever burned. it also gives us a 1.5x multiplier in the contest, the highest on the board.
Worth Knowing - this launched two weeks before the contest was announced. the treasury donation wasn't a contest play, it just happens to be one now.

When I aped $CATOSHI I knew it wasn't going to be easy
The most successful (not all) memecoins on Stonkfun got pushed by the paired token entity or Solana itself
We had not that luxury
If you follow TWW (I'm not tagging him because I know he's going to read this anyway) you should know by now that he doesn't want to be actively involved in memecoins anymore, and I totally understand and respect it
Yet he asked @LaunchOnSF to add RUSH as custom pair
Yet he interacted with the dev and our community
Yet the Sat Rush treasury is our main holder and is burning $RUSH
He could have ignored it
Sat Rush could have sold their bag
But they didn't
This is far from equal to a Backpack's founder or Raydium shill, it's not even a full endorsement, but it's something
Connect the dots by yourself: if Catoshi Rush starts running they'll be able to burn way more RUSH on top of their already deflationary tokenomics
I was bullish on RUSH before Catoshi, I'm even more bullish now (call me mad or too optimistic but I see it going for 3 digits in the near future)
That said, if we play our cards correctly there's no reason for them to not support this project more in the future
We have a talented dev (you all appreciated that @kapzonx Stonkfun eco video) willing to carry on, we have a small but active community with top holders hodling, we have a good narrative and one of the best flywheel
We don't have KOLs or cabals, and that's not necessarily a bad thing, but they will join eventually
If we, the top holders, don't sell too early (and the chart is proving we got some diamond hands in here), counting the 50% with their treasury, we could say we have supply control over this
I see a lot of good reasons for Catoshi to succeed and far less for it to fail
I asked Stonkfun for a Rush pair even before TWW, mainly because I'm an early @SatRush user and a fan of its founder, and I wanted to contribute to their success
I'm still here with that same goal, and you can be sure, I'll bagwork hard in order to make it happen
I also want Stonkfun to succeed so I hope @solana and the rest of the network will give us a chance
