“In 2022, the CDC updatedthe guidelines after acknowledging that they had been misapplied.”
They are still being misapplied…and the harm to patients are not being tracked or addressed.

The CDC drug overdose report is extremely telling. To get to the interactive pages where you can select tables showing different information requires you to select from little pop-down menus. I pulled up the table showing causes of death from diagnosis code T40.2, which would be our "prescription opioid medications," except methadone is in a different classification, and we know that it is dispensed for SUD and for pain, so this table does not include those numbers. But it is plainly obvious and everybody knows. Everybody who is anybody in officialdom has to know. But, for posterity's sake, please send all your Representatives this information along with my Congressional to request (I will put that link in the comments) and a letter asking if a Congressional Inquiry has been opened, and if not, asking them to please take action. Everybody knows that deaths from this class of drug, that little bitty green line are caused by pain meds (and please make no mistake, all of these deaths are horrifying, and I do not wish to minimize nor compare nor assert any judgment upon any of these classifications of cause of death). I have not spent much time in this website yet, and I am pretty sure that they do not have a way to tell us whether it was a poly-substance/alcohol abuse plus pain meds death, or, whether the pain meds were a prescription, or, obtained on an illicit basis. That kind of investigation is not happening at the coroner level (if it is, I would be shocked). And that is what we need.
We need to know whether the deceased who died from these pain meds:
1. had a prescription at the time of death, and if so, for which drugs/strength/daily dose, of every controlled substance whether detected or not;
2. whether alcohol or other substances were also involved;
3. had a history of treatment for chronic pain with opioids, by showing the oldest date that the deceased had prescription history listed in the PDMP, and the complete history included in the PDMP for all Scheduled medications and the dates prescribed, whether detected or not at the time of death; and by pulling medical insurance pharmacy claims, and, any other known data source where prescriptions of Scheduled medications might be reported, for each of the deceased, for dates preceding the creation of the PDMP, as far back as such a history is documented;
4. whether the deceased person with a PDMP history but no current prescription, had lost access to pain treatment using their medications, through being dismissed from care (if so, for what documented reason, if any), through stopping treatment voluntarily (of so, for what documented reason, if any), or from losing a provider due to a move/relocation by either party, by closure of provider location, by arrest or the death of the doctor;
5. had been involuntary force-tapered by the provider, had prescription medication changes, and if so, what changes, and when;
6. had been dismissed for care after a failed urine screen, and, if so, if that was a rapid test result, had the sample been sent to gas-spectrometry for confirmation;
7. had any recent surgery, emergency room visits, or hospitalizations, accidents, or had given birth at a hospital or at home or other birthing location, the dates, and the reason and diagnosis for each;
8. had a prior overdose documented in the medical record, or had treatment for substance abuse, with or without medication-assistance;.
Without funding and investigation personnel, this data is not going to be collected. Let's go deep diving into what all data HAS been reported, and start there. Everybody knows that it is NOT pain meds that are driving this "crisis," but again, I am not minimizing or judging, I just want the TRUTH.

Earlier this year, my husband Abraham was diagnosed with a very rare bone cancer. This has been a challenging time for us and is hard to talk about. But so many of you have reached out asking how he’s doing, and sharing your prayers and well wishes with us. We made this video to share a little about what this journey has been like, and to update you on his recovery. Mahalo for all of the love and support 🙏🏽

Can we talk about the monthly hostage negotiation known as filling a legally prescribed full-agonist opioid?
Call too early to make sure everything is in order?
Suspicious.
Wait until the fill date?
Sorry, we’re out of stock.
Call another pharmacy?
Suspicious.
Don’t call around?
Risk reaching your fill date with no pharmacy able to fill it.
The prescription must arrive on precisely the correct day.
The pharmacy must have the exact medication and strength.
The prescriber must be reachable.
The insurance company must cooperate.
The calendar must align with weekends and holidays.
And the patient, who is allowed no meaningful cushion, must somehow coordinate all of it without appearing too concerned about the medication keeping them functional.
Then, every 30 days, a stable chronic-pain patient is treated like an entirely new and unexpected pharmaceutical emergency.
Continuity of care should not require a monthly obstacle course.
And planning ahead should not be mistaken for drug-seeking.

A couple of days ago I posted about a brand new NarxCare study, an FDA docket that is super important with a deadline of Aug 13, and how it all relates to our Citizen Petition to FDA regarding NarxCare.
I created a public post on Patreon explaining all of it, giving the links, and uploading pdfs of the information, including our petition.
Please let me know if you have any questions. This is really important.

Imagine a doctor tells you that you need heart medication. But they'll only be prescribing it at a 1/4 of the therapeutic dose that would keep you medically stable and ok.
This is happening to people in pain-only prescribed a fraction of the medicine they medically need to live.

If the Covid era taught us anything it is that the government should not be allowed to force their suspect ideas about health care onto free people. Gov is supposed to protect our inalienable rights, not remove them.

The easiest person to sacrifice in the opioid debate is the one already living in agony.
The people shaping this debate have microphones.
They have lobbyists.
They have conferences.
They have influence.
Pain patients have wheelchairs.
We have heating pads.
We have infusion chairs.
We have hospital bracelets.
We have bodies that demand every ounce of our strength just to survive another day.
We don’t have the luxury of spending our days walking the halls of Congress or state capitols.
So we write.
We post.
We tell our stories.
Year after year after year…
Yet where is the national leader willing to stand beside us?
Where is the physician with a national platform willing to risk criticism and say:
“People with legitimate, documented pain deserve individualized care, not medicine practiced through a legal lens instead of a clinical one.”
Pain patients are not acceptable collateral damage!
I totally totally love this. It is incredible talks about Portugal and our losing gam we play

Here's what we know about the state-sanctioned pain patient torture and mass murder program:
• The FDA/NIH decided that informed consent for medical experimentation could be waived when the experiment posed "minimal risk;"
• Experimentation without informed consent began on the pain patient population at the VA and then expanded to the Medicare beneficiaries and then to the general population, to use "non-opioid alternatives" for pain treatment (except there ARE no effective "non-opioid alternatives;"
• The prohibitionist "addiction psychiatrists" helped label all pain patients on long-term opioid therapy as "addicts;"
• The government used the false narratives,manipulated data, and lies about "prescription opioid medications" to codify the need to use "non-opioid alternatives" to treat chronic pain (but this far has not FOUND any "non-opioid alternatives" that are effective;
• The DEA went crazy and decided that the definition of a controlled substance is "a substance that you cannot have anymore," and is ignoring the fact that these medications have legitimate medical uses for chronic, intractable, trauma, cancer, palliative, hospice, and surgical pain patients;
• The "public health emergency declaration in the opioid crisis" has allowed the health agencies and DEA to set aside any law they desire to proceed with their "public health initiatives.". These included inserting anti-opioid propaganda into medical school curriculums (unlawful, 42 USC § 1395), data-mining private patient data to find outliers who are prescribed more than what the government thinks is "excessive" (unlawful, HIPPA), prosecuting pain doctors for the "crime" of treating pain using "paid expert witness testimony" to convince Juries of guilt (unlawful, SCOTUs Decision in Ruan vs United States), and much more;
• Pain patients are now tortured, and are dying from medical complications, medical condition collapse, known increased risks of excessively high blood pressure that is non-responsive to BP meds, known increased risks of heart attack, stroke, and suicide after a forced-taper or loss of access to therapeutic doses of pain medications. Patient outcomes were NOT tracked when the agenda to restrict access to pain medication was rolled out, so we have no accurate data about the number of harms and deaths caused by these policies, although the evidence suggests that hundreds of thousands of patients may have died over the past decade as a direct result of these policies;
• No government official has responded in any way to repeated calls for reform, even though these policies have NOT reduced deaths from illicit fentanyl analog compound poisonings, the stated purpose of the policies. And the reason is that "prescription opioid medications" had nothing whatsoever to do with the parabolic rise in deaths from illicit drugs beginning in the early 2000's - the original Big Lie told to the public by the prohibitionists and captured health agencies;
• Dept of Health and Human Services has not responded in any way to the April 2025 filing of a legal Notice of a Request for Review of the Public Health Emergency Declaration in the Opioid Crisis, and has renewed that declaration twice since RFKJr was confirmed - and, has not returned the little green signature card from the post office from either the April 2025 filing or the resubmission Sept 30th, 2025;
• A District Court lawsuit will have to be filed in 2026 if we are unable to get the Dept of HHS to resolve our concerns about the corruption, false narratives, failure to protect patient safety, and all the rest of it - you can read the Notice here, which has numerous Sections that detail every known issue, problem, and LIE perpetrated by the health agencies upon the public -

CDC came out with the Opioid Prescribing Guidelines in March of 2016, Canada's Guidelines in November 2017. Pay attention to those dates, because this is something that has been hidden:
BC, Canada put the equivalent of US's CDC Guidelines into law in June of 2016 - well over a year before Canada's Guidelines were published and implemented. These "guidelines" (CDC) were codified as law in the province of British Columbia for two years, from June of 2016 to June 2018. They were repealed because there were too many suicides in the pain community. And yet, both the US and Canada moved forward in enacting the killing opioid prescribing guidelines, even with credible, irrefutable evidence of the serious harm to the pain population.
That's why Gov isn't tracking outcomes of the Guidelines - they already know disabled and Complex Pain patients are suffering and dying. We're disposable.
Prohibition is a multi-billion dollar industry. Pain? Costs too much, and you're saving people who will never "contribute" to society in any meaningful way again.

Ask the CDC why they stopped publishing data on suicides due to chronic pain in the US with a cutoff of 2014 in their 2018 report. They have since REFUSED to provide data they have the infrastructure to provide.
Why? Because their 2016 guidelines and bad data have killed a lot of people.

We have the huge gaping hole in the de-prescribing agenda of the health agencies refusing to track patient outcome. Now we know that the preliminary data showed the drastic increase of patient harm and death following the loss of access to proper, appropriate, clinically indicated pain medications. I now have the evidence I need that the health agencies' refusal to track patient outcome is deliberate and is meant to CONCEAL these patient harms and deaths from opioid de-prescribing. See you all in court.
