We're thrilled to welcome you to our school! 🎉 Our open afternoon on Wednesday 14th October is coming up fast and we'd love to see as many of you as possible in readiness for our reception intake in September 2027. Come and discover what makes the Priory feel like home!

Today we’ve welcomed in RISE theatre company to deliver their treasure within workshop to the children. Throughout the day, every class explored the 7 catholic social teaching principles we underpin our curriculum on. We hope everyone arrived home and shared the day.

Well done Lindisfarne for a wonderful Harvest celebration of the word this afternoon! ⭐️🤩 They all did a fantastic job in leading the school in this service.

Please help us share far and wide our open afternoon on Wednesday 14th October to prospective new parents/children to start in September 2027.

We hope everyone has had a lovely return back to school and we've loved welcoming our new EYFS cohort to the Priory. We will continue to share all our good work and achievements over the next half term!

Today we said a sad farewell to Father Paul as he prepares to move to a new parish. We wish Father Paul every happiness and success in this new chapter of his ministry and thank him for everything he has done for The Priory.

We hope everyone at the Priory has enjoyed a lovely Summer and we look forward to welcoming you all back on Tuesday 8th September. Thank you The Priory Team

From everyone at the Priory - we wish you all a lovely Summer and we'll see you back in September. The Priory Team.

It is with great sadness that yesterday we said goodbye to our Y6s. We’ve loved seeing their journey over the last 7 years and wish them every success as they move onto secondary school and the next part of their journey. From everyone at the Priory good luck!!

It is with great sadness we’ve said goodbye to Mrs McNeil, Mr McDaid, Mrs Hurd and Mr Preedy this week. We thank them for all their hard work, time and dedication to our school and the children they’ve taught. We’ll miss you but wish you every success in your next adventures.

Today, we held our last Mass of the academic year and also wished our Year 6 leavers well as they move onto secondary. Thank you to those who attended and joined us in the celebration and a time of reflection for all of the accomplishments our children have achieved this year.

Another successful summer fair it was! 🎉 Thank you for making it another incredible success — even with the heat beating down on us! Your support means everything. 🙌

Happy Father’s Day!! We hope your child brought home a small gift for you today. Have a lovely day and thank you to the PTA for organising this.

🏅 Sports Day 2026 🏅 It was touch and go with the weather, but what a fabulous day we all had! We are incredibly proud of all of our children for their effort, resilience and team spirit throughout the day.

What a fantastic day at District Sports this week! Our children represented The Priory brilliantly and showed excellent sportsmanship throughout the event. It was wonderful to see them cheering each other on, encouraging their teammates and giving their very best in every event.

🎸🎸We had the best time rocking out with Aaron from Rock Steady in an assembly this morning and then a KS2 and KS1 workshop afterwards!! The children behaved amazingly and it was absolutely fantastic to see them participate in singing and learning about instruments. 🎸

We just wanted to say a huge well done to our Y6s who finished their SATs today. They've all worked incredibly hard this week and we're really proud of how you've managed the week and all tried your best.

From everyone at the Priory we'd like to wish you Happy Easter. We will see you all back on Monday 13th April. The Priory Team

🐣 What an egg-stra special day we've had! Our children hunted, searched and discovered their way through an amazing Egg Hunt while showing off the most creative Easter bonnets you've ever seen!!

🎭 What a show! York and Assisi class absolutely knocked it out of the park with their Easter play today! 🌟 The Y3/4 team couldn't be prouder of every single performance—from the biggest roles to the smallest gestures, you all brought the story to life beautifully. 🎉 💚
