Saturday saw both teams start the season off with WINS against Hartley Country Club. Great day in the sun, cobwebs falling off, and things lining up nicely for the season 🔥 #cricket #cricketresults #cricketfan #villagecricket #cricketseason

1st XI Fixtures for their 2026 Surrey Championship Campaign! With some new teams in the picture, and some bogey teams out of it- the season is shaping up to be delightful! ❤️💚 #cricket #cricketdistrict #surreycricket #surreycricketchampionship #2026cricketseason

2nd XI League fixtures for 2026…. #cricket #cricketseason #surreycricketchampionship

1XI Captain 2026: Zac Jennings. After a few seasons as VC, this season sees Zac step up to take full responsibilities in the 1s. Coming off a long stint down under, he’ll be stealing some tactics from the enemy (strictly no sandpaper), and hoping to deliver. #surreycricket #CCC

2XI Captain 2026: Haneef Rauf. Our very own ‘Hannie Badger’ is taking the reins this season. Possibly the nicest guy at CCC, I’m sure it will be a season to enjoy for everyone involved. #cricket #surreycricketchampionship #cricketbadger

T20 Slam Captain 2026: Jordan Bunyan. When he’s not spinning decks or making music on his DJ duties, JB is a seriously good cricketer. Also holding VC responsibilities in the 1XI, Jords will make a big impact this season! #cricket #surreycricket #surreycricketchampionship #dj

Sunday Captain 2026: Matt Ward. ‘Wardy’ is keeping up his responsibilities of captaining our Sunday team this season. Usually found on a Sunday sleeping out by the boundary rope, let’s hope he can continue this season. #cricket #surreycricketchampionship #villagecricket

Here’s the news you’ve been waiting for! This is how we’ll line up for the @SurreySlam plate final this weekend. All fans welcome, see you there! 🫡

Seven days to go… 🔥

Decent weekend, overall. 1s secured runners up with an 8 wkt win against @EGCC1, followed by a 6 wicket win vs @StokeDabernonCC in @SurreySlam on Sun. Zac J smashed 51* (8x4), chasing down the total Matt Mc and Marchy’s 3-fers set up. Next stop? Final at the Oval on Sat 21/9.

Alex J continued his stellar season with another unplayable spell (9-4-9-5) at @Chaldon_CMO. Great knocks from Zac and Sam set up a large chase, and was too much. Sadly, the 2s lost by 10 runs in a table topping tussle to @WVCC_Cricket, suckered out by slow and v slow bowling. 😢

A cracking night of ducks, dropped catches, smashed sixes and sunny fun at Hill Fields. Caterham Cricket Club hosted @OldCatsRFC. We won by 30 odd, with unbeaten 50s from our JB and Willo for the rugby boys. Finished with burgers and beers in the bar, what an evening!

What a T20 win vs @ChartCricket. A strong 176/6, anchored by Nursey Jr (again!) with 30 from 15, icing applied by Marchy (see below) with a riotous 27 from 9. In reply we took regular wkts, & Marchy top again with 2/20 as we won by 37 runs. Bring on the semi on 1st Sept. #slam
