Happy five years, Dusty Rose! You're still the crazy puppy we rescued, and we thank you for rescuing us from the evil squirrels 💕

Four years ago, Blair and I took our longest journey together.
She crossed over the rainbow bridge with a smile on her face. 🌈
I miss my girl dearly!

It's time to save some more pups! Help @RescueCoop out the best you can!
Lately, quite frankly, things are awful.
Overwhelming.
So many pups in need.
We are saving as many as we can.
This week we have 4 $5 Friday pups.
A dumped senior with a euthanasia deadline.
A puppy found in a trash can.
Two young pups with zero time left.
None of these dogs had pledges or support.
We still said yes.

One of the hardest things to experience as a piano teacher is to watch one of your OGs fly the coop, college-bound.
Tessa, we are so proud of you for starting the Primer books and then moving your way up to the completion of Level 4!! So proud!

Another Mama and puppies that need your help!
Please donate here: rescuecoop.org/donate
When we saw Abbie and her two puppies in a high-kill Alabama shelter, we knew their chances weren’t good.
A scared brindle mama and two mixed-breed pups aren’t often the ones people rush to save.
But we couldn’t forget her eyes.
Today, Abbie, Alice, and Aimee are safe.
If you’d like to help with their vet care, we’d be so grateful.♥️

A quick trip to Iowa City for the IMTA Conference!
A wonderful opportunity to meet with other teachers, learn from our guest clinicians, hang out behind the Klais organ, and of course, Hawk like Herky!

This post is a huge thank you for rallying around mama Daisy & her 3 surviving boys 🥹♥️!
Daisy suffered through 18 hours of labor before being surrendered to us for vet care & an emergency c-section.
3 of her pups had already passed & we lost little Clover yesterday 💔.
Together this community & the wonderful donor matches this week helped us come within $500 of her expected bill which is just unbelievable!!!
We don’t have enough words of thanks to express our gratitude of the generosity towards this little mama.
Thank you 🥹♥️!!!
We will continue to provide updates!

Imagine being just a year old, in distress after 18 hours of labor, scared, hurting, & needing emergency surgery to survive.
We said yes to helping, saving mom & 4 puppies.
Now we need help covering the cost of saying yes.
Donations are matched today ♥️

One of the blessings of teaching that many don't see is the camaraderie that grows among students. Watching these little ladies cheer each other on at auditions, both as friends and competitors, was truly heart-warming.
