Former co-boss of Rockstar Games Dan Houser doesn't play open world games like GTA anymore, but it's for a good creative reason: he doesn't want to be influenced by them as he works on his two new game projects at his new enterprise, Absurd Ventures. bit.ly/4z9Ovdc
Every year at Absurd Ventures I fight my fear of heights for a good cause. It'd mean a lot to me if you want to join and contribute to this cause - every donation makes a difference:

A videogame doesn't want to come out. It wants to be a buggy, clunky, unparsable, piece of garbage. It takes constant effort and stress to defy a game's natural destructive desire.
It is remarkable how many teams have overcome that hurdle and released a great game this year.
Super gutted for everyone impacted, and for those who stay but have to see their coworkers go, on these Bungie layoffs 💔 the people I worked with there are some of my favorite and absolute best in the business
I want to help however I can - please DM for a chat, if I can help you get connected to opportunities anywhere
or if you’re interested in Absurd Ventures (any posted roles, or future ones) - it’d be an honor to work with any of you again
