CAT THOMPSON’S “ALL NIGHT” — FILIPINO-AUSTRALIAN POP-R&B WITH INTERNATIONAL APPEAL @CatThompsonLive Filipino-Australian singer, songwriter and producer Cat Thompson delivers a smooth, confident and radio-friendly release with her latest single, “All Night.” Written and produced by Thompson herself, the track explores attraction, chemistry and the excitement of finding that special connection. Its mid-tempo Pop-R&B groove, polished production and memorable chorus give the song an easy late-night appeal without trying to overpower the listener. The strongest element of “All Night” is Thompson’s voice. Her delivery is warm, controlled and natural, allowing the emotion of the song to come through without over-singing. She sounds comfortable inside the music, and that restraint gives the track much of its charm. Production-wise, “All Night” stays clean and spacious. The rhythm keeps the song moving while maintaining its relaxed character, making it a strong fit for contemporary Pop-R&B playlists, evening drives and late-night radio rotation. The song could perhaps benefit from a bigger final build—a stronger vocal climax, added harmonies or heavier percussion might have created an even greater emotional payoff. But the understated approach also works in its favor. “All Night” is not trying to shout for attention. It creates a mood and lets the listener settle into it. Thompson is also gaining recognition beyond Australia. She recently won Best R&B Performance at the UK’s Indie Music Icons Radio Awards 2026 for her song “Dance Fire.” Her Filipino roots add another important dimension to her story. For Filipino listeners around the world, Cat Thompson represents another voice from the diaspora making her mark internationally while building a distinct musical identity of her own. CPRM Rating: 8/10 CPRM Verdict: “All Night” is smooth, romantic and professionally produced, with strong replay value and a vocal performance that carries the song from beginning to end. Cat Thompson’s Filipino-Australian roots, songwriting ability and polished Pop-R&B sound make her an artist worth keeping an eye on. #CatThompson #AllNight #FilipinoAustralian #PopRnB #CPRMRadyo
