The week's lesson: the fastest way to understand infrastructure is to use it. So this week was about getting people hands-on sooner: a browser start, quickstarts that match the tools, and example bots ready to run. 4/5🧵..

Next: stress-testing the plugin on our own validator, with several bots running at once and uptime kept healthy throughout. 5/5🧵

We also got feedback from testers, and made onboarding even easier. We grouped wallet and treasury setup into one step. 4/5🧵...

The week's lesson: every protocol we add surfaces behaviour nobody has documented, but brings us closer to understanding the full Solana account graph. That's what going first costs. It's also what compounds - each integration makes the next one faster. 5/5🧵

Week 1 building in public at Crypto World's Fair @colosseum Our focus this hackathon is distribution: dev tooling, and a benchmarked latency test: 🧵1/4:

The latency test is the low-friction way in. Run it on your own setup and see the difference yourself, rather than take our word for it. Built and running on mainnet this week. Also found a function making 2,000 database calls where one batch would do. Slots now process in 30ms. 🧵3/4:

Next week is where it gets good. - Open-sourcing the latency test so anyone can benchmark their own setup. - The liquidation instruction, so the engine acts rather than watches. - Agents running a real trade strategy, with a terminal UI. Follow along.

1/ August at CatScope. A low-latency data store inside the validator: 1 billion accounts covered < 3 hours to index and sync with the network 200–300ms average block processing < 20ms from validator receive to WASM bot read

2/ August at CatScope. Solana's slot time stepped down to 350ms this month, with 200ms and Alpenglow ahead. We tested our stack against Agave v4.2 on mainnet, tuned the parts of the pipeline sized for the old cadence, and measured how we behave under shorter slots.

3/ August at CatScope. A 16-phase suite verified the compiled bot end-to-end against real mainnet transactions across Orca, Raydium CLMM, Phoenix, Pumpfun, Pumpswap, Kamino, Solend, Marinade and Sanctum — swaps, deposits, withdrawals, borrows and repays.

Latency products on Solana keep converging on one place. This isn't a coincidence, and it isn't the network, it's the validator. We mapped the whole landscape — what's new and fast on Solana, and what Alpenglow and SIMD-0525 change about it: medium.com/@naomi_89368/the-…

Looking forward to Aug 25th! Catscope is validator-native execution infra for Solana — two edges on one stack: the fastest reads on the network, and an open marketplace decentralizing MEV. Building for the desks that live and die on latency. @InspiraLabsHQ @Yellow @cicada_mm
Today, we're excited to officially launch 10X Founders Demo Day v2.0, hosted by @InspiraLabsHQ, @Yellow and @cicada_mm @SonicLabs joins 10X Founders Demo Day v2.0 as our Anchor Partner. Rate limits. Stale data. Updates your app never even saw. Every Solana dev thinks this is just the cost of building on-chain. It's not. It's the cost of how your app reads the chain. How your app should be reading Solana:
