The member of the United States military who fell last night while performing a rappelling demonstration at the Navy vs UTSA game has died according to Task and Purpose.
The member has been identified as a U.S. Air Force Airman from the 6th Combat Training Squadron, Detachment 2. This unit trains USAF Tactical Air Control Party (TACP) members. A spokesperson from Nellis AFB which is where the 6th CTS is based out of confirmed the death to Task and Purpose.
