It is with heavy hearts that we share the loss of our SNU football player, Tyler Ulrich.

Paws & Pints of Des Moines, Iowa is planning to renovate and expand the old Bar K near Riversport and the Oklahoma River.
After opening the sprawling indoor/outdoor facility in early 2023, Bar K suddenly closed all three of its locations in July 2025. In addition to Oklahoma City, they also operated in Kansas City and Saint Louis.
Plans show a new 7,725-square-foot addition to the north to include dog daycare and grooming.
There are also plans to replace the outdoor artificial turf and do considerable renovation to the entire complex.
Paws & Pints is similar to Bar K in that it seeks to blend a social bar and restaurant scene with dogs and dog lovers.
They offer daily or monthly memberships as well as trivia nights and dog-focused events.
The news comes as the Riversport area to the immediate south prepares to host whitewater events for the 2028 Summer Olympics.
Rangers game room has a pop-a-shot machine, with Erick Fedde leading every year he’s been there.

The mainstream media is fear mongering about our work at Big Bend. Here’s what’s actually happening:
@CBP is building ONE new access road, improving existing roads, installing detection technology, and placing vehicle barriers in limited, strategic locations.
What people are seeing is survey and design work — NOT construction of a wall or stadium lighting through Big Bend National Park, Big Bend Ranch State Park, or the Black Wildlife Management Area.
We are working to preserve the landscape and protect the access visitors and local residents depend on.

Here’s the tricky part about heat safety in Oklahoma: the OSSAA doesn’t hand you a specific mandated WBGT policy.
Which sounds like freedom until you’re the one who has to decide what your districts thresholds are, who takes readings, and what happens when you cross a line nobody officially drew. 🤷

BREAKING UPDATE: @newson6 has learned @okstatehockey will play OU on January 30th in the outdoor game at Boone Pickens Stadium. Will be a huge event the entire day with tailgating and world touring performers as well. The ice will be down for 5 days, with 3 open skates for the public. More details to come. #OKState #Bedlam
BREAKING: @NewsOn6 has learned that @okstatehockey will host an outdoor event at Boone Pickens Stadium in January of 2027. There's been no word yet from OSU officials, but the event will feature multiple teams and will cover four days. Oklahoma State will play two games on two nights. The event will also feature a public skate on the ice at Boone Pickens Stadium. The Cowboys are coming off an appearance in the American Collegiate Hockey Association national title game.
More details are expected in the coming days.
