The AI driven decomp projects are accelerating the timeline of “cloud gaming only”.
I’m sure it’s PogChamp tre flipping off Rust tower before you pull out an Intervention to trick shot your friend who’s actually just playing Beat Saber in the corner.
But are you ready to pay a subscription every month to be able to play games at all? That’s where we’re headed.
From what I saw only two teams ever really lost to each other in NA. They just merged and I’m struggling to figure out why they would do this. Short term prize money you gain is going to be lost when/if orgs want to invest in NA in the future.
Foot, gun, etc.
New Roster: @AVGdeadlock @LeagueDL0 @zenodeadlock @lomeine
To DMB, Goober, Braeden, & Birdee. It was a pleasure building this chapter of MLC with you. Continue working hard, and we will have many battles in the future.
Been learning how to draw. Also learned how to read music a while ago.
On my “wonder if I can do that” arc.
This is really sad to see. Completely understand it.
Replying to @henrytdowling
not programming/building outside of work, actually just stepping away from it all
People using moral nihilism to justify training on pirated data because “ethics don’t exist” was not on my bingo card.
Company invests unprecedented resources into anti-cheat
Players still surprise Pikachu because they think cheating is a solvable problem
People working on Vanguard, despite doing what is likely the most out of any company, must deal with “but you guys said you were going to take cheating seriously. But this guy still cheated using four computers and three different auxiliary pieces of hardware. What a joke you are”
Guys stop reading the code that you ship to users. It’s pointless. The plagiarism machine is more right than wrong these days.
No, no it can’t take accountability. Yes, the code you push is still your code and you are responsible for it, both legally and ethically.
But cmon man. Don’t read it. That’s so boring!
I still think it’s funny that the fix to Visual Studio intellisense being shit is to lock your visual studio’s frame rate to 60 in gpu software.
Program defaults to your refresh rate, and intellisense is invoked once per frame.
Comedy gold.
Empulse is fun. 1047 has a really bad track record though.
The aim assist is for sure overturned. Unless you’re fully sitting up vaaks’d out of your mind, I’m pretty sure it’s only worth using the DMR. Which is a shame.
The Retirement Home League tournament is great. @CLG_HotshotGG looks exactly like Adrien Brody now.
“Wtf is a kilometer” chants whenever NA wins anything at all gets a genuine laugh out of me every time
I’ve always thought that VOD review structure is shit.
I’m proposing something I think might be better. Project-like reviews. Software facilitated. Each person can contribute to the review remotely. All synced. Support of multiple povs, draw overlay, replay parsing for stats / game time sync, etc.
The goal is to see what happens when you have all the tools you could ever want to facilitate extremely thorough reviews. Maybe it’s better, maybe it’s not. But it’s interesting.
League first class support. Everything else second class.
I stopped working on mechanics trainer to do this.

Tired of noobs complaining the WINAPI for malware development is weird. It's not.

Just make sure you use the appropriate version of CreateFile (CreateFileA for ANSI, or CreateFileW for wide characters).
Alternatively, you can use CreateFile2 which is the same as CreateFile except the parameters are passed as a data structure named CREATEFILE2_EXTENDED_PARAMETERS. However, be aware CreateFile2 only works on Windows 8 and above and designed more or less for programs running from the Windows app store.
Alternatively, alternatively, you could use CreateFile3 which is nearly identical to CreateFile2 except it uses the CREATEFILE3_EXTENDED_PARAMETERS structure and is more or less designed for sandboxed packaged applications. However, be aware CreateFile3 only works on Windows11 24H2 and above.
It's shrimple, honestly.
They ignored laws, vacuumed up humanity’s work, knowledge, creations, and are now selling it back to you.
And you’re paying for it with a smile on your face, excited about the “AI powered future”.
Fuck me it’s sad.
