CSU Pueblo took it to Central Missouri, and picked up a big 44-25 win on Thursday night (8/27/26). Pueblo’s big win was the result of some standout performances on both sides of the ball. 🏈 Navi Bruzon had a great game behind center for the Thunderwolves, completing 18 of 29 pass attempts for 321 yards and 4 touchdowns. 🏈 Dedrek Taylor-Akins has quickly become one of Bruzon’s favorite targets, as DTA hauled in 9 receptions for 200 yards and 3 touchdowns. 🏈 Carter Daniels put up ridiculous numbers of his own on the defensive side of the ball, accounting for 16 tackles (5 solo & 11 assisted), including 1.5 sacks, and a PICK SIX! 🏈 Jaylen Booth also stepped up big for the Thunderwolves’ defense as he accumulated 5 tackles (4 solo & 1 assisted) with 3 tackles for loss, including a sack.
