Exciting news in the Carson Lab, this past Friday! Our very own Emmy Schwarz, a graduate student of Biomedical Science passed her candidacy and will receive her doctorate in August. We are proud of you, Emmy!

This week we celebrated Dr. Carson's birthday!

Congratulations Dr. Himanshu Savardekar! Himanshu has been a long time Carson Lab Member. He recently graduated with his doctorate this past weekend. We are incredibly proud of what he has accomplished as a scientist in our lab and look forward to see what he does next.

Congratulations to Nichole Brandenburg! Nicole graduated this past weekend with a Master's in Business Analytics. In addition, she has been an invaluable member of our team as our Grants Manager.

This past week, graduate student Emmy presented her research at the COM Trainee Research Day poster competition and won a Scientific Travel Award that can be used for presenting at a future scientific meeting! Congratulations lab member Emmy! #CarsonLabRocks

A few weeks ago, one of our undergrad student assistants, Alex Abreo, presented at the Denman Forum on his research, “BRD4 Inhibition Leads to Apoptosis of Myeloid-Derived Suppressor Cells in Solid Tumors,” and earned first place! Congratulations Alex! #CarsonLabRocks
