Maybe she should have just agreed to the double shift at the hospital. . . Was it too late? Maybe she could call them. It would be better than just sitting here alone.

Moving to a new place can be scary. . . Especially when you don't know anyone. Of course not that she knew everyone in New York but this was different. This was a small town. Everyone grew up together. They've known each other for a long time. She was a stranger. And alone.
