I’ll stipulate that Trump is an agent of Putin. Go down the checklist. 1. Destroyed the Western alliance? Putin wanted that. 2. Threatened a NATO ally over Greenland? Putin wanted that. 3. Pulled out of the intermediate nuclear pact? Putin wanted that. 4. Withdrawing 25-40,000 troops from Western Europe while Russian bellicosity is rising? Putin wanted that. 5. Russian satellites giving coordinates to Iranians killing our soldiers, and his response is “they kill us, we kill them”? What American president says that? I think he’s been compromised. The election of Donald Trump may be the greatest foreign policy success in post-Czarist Russian history.

Imagine if, four years after invading Iraq, we controlled only 20% of it and had suffered 1.3 million casualties. Would anyone call that “winning”? Of course not. But when it’s Russia, we’re supposed to believe Putin holds all the cards.

He says the name just fine when he’s begging the Qataris for a personal jet or the Saudis for funding for his son-in-law’s private equity firm. Wonder what’s changed?
Trump on El-Sayed: "His name is actually Abduladadalalalala. It's Adulbabababababa Mohammed Al-Sayed. So his middle name is Mohammed. So I was right. He's a jihadist."

Must-watch 3:30 exchange between Brian Kilmeade and Rachel Campos-Duffy on FOX this Sunday is the clearest picture of the Republican split over Ukraine. Campos-Duffy: “We’re probably going to get peace there because President Trump is now working with Russia because Zelensky is so arrogant.” Kilmeade: “It would be the biggest mistake of his administration to work with Russia. That is the modern Hitler of our generation.” Two completely opposed worldviews on the same network. One says Zelensky should face an election for blowing up refineries and not helping Trump before the midterms. The other says those refineries are the war machine bombing apartment buildings, and that “There’s one person who was responsible, Vladimir Putin.” This is the GOP’s Ukraine fight—America First vs. the case for engagement—unfiltered. My take? Thank goodness for Kilmeade’s clarity. Watch the whole thing.

SNL TURNED A WHITE HOUSE RENOVATION INTO A HOME-IMPROVEMENT SHOW. And that format choice is what makes the premise interesting. “White House Makeover” takes the familiar language of property-renovation television and applies it to Trump's plans for the White House ballroom. Instead of treating the subject like a conventional political report, the sketch borrows a format audiences recognize immediately. The makeover reveal. The confident hosts. The promise that a big renovation will solve everything. But the White House isn't an ordinary house, and a presidential building project isn't just another television renovation. That contrast gives the satire its starting point. SNL takes a political story and changes the lens through which we see it. Suddenly, a question about presidential priorities becomes a parody of television's obsession with dramatic transformations.

Nick lists some of Donald Trump's failed 2024 campaign promises, asks why people would vote for MAGA again. - No mass deportations - No border wall - War against Iran - No transparency with the Epstein Files - No reduction in the deficit "Why would we vote for people that lie?"

Using Bible verses to justify violence is not only the opposite of what Jesus teaches, it’s a direct contradiction of the passage Hegseth cites in this video. “Here am I, send me” was the prophet Isaiah’s response after being called by God to deliver a message to the people and their leaders. What was the message? “Your leaders are rebels, the companions of thieves. All of them love bribes and demand payoffs, but they refuse to defend the cause of orphans or fight for the rights of widows.” Isaiah 1:23 What were these corrupt and rebellious leaders doing? “Woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive decrees, to deprive the poor of their rights and withhold justice from the oppressed of my people, making widows their prey and robbing the fatherless. What will you do on the day of reckoning, when disaster comes from afar? To whom will you run for help? Where will you leave your riches?” Isaiah 10:1-3 God is sending Isaiah to warn the people, and more specifically their leaders, that if they do not turn from their corrupt ways and begin caring for the most vulnerable among them, they will suffer God’s judgment. Isaiah answers that call by saying, “Here am I, send me.” This isn’t just about taking a few Bible verses out of context. For an administration filled corrupt leaders to claim these verses while perpetrating the very marginalization and oppression being condemned in this passage is the height of blasphemy.
.@SECWAR "This is our first stop on what we are calling the SEND ME TOUR. If you know your Book of Isaiah, Chapter 6, Verse 8, the Lord said, 'Whom shall I send?' Isaiah says, 'Lord, I AM HERE. SEND ME...' For 250 years of this country, there have been men and women who RAISED THEIR RIGHT HAND and said, 'SEND ME.' SEND ME TO GO FIGHT THE REDCOATS. SEND ME TO GO FIGHT THE COMMUNISTS. SEND ME TO GO FIGHT THE ISLAMISTS. AND YOU ARE SAYING, SEND ME TO GO FIGHT WHATEVER THREATS THREATEN OUR NATION.'"

Bill Maher: Trump, you're not going to argue that he's not corrupt. Jessica Tarlov: They never talk about how many fraudsters he's pardoned. The largest health care fraud in our nation's history, Philip Esformes, $1.3 billion, gets his sentence commuted. Maher: That's why the Jon Ossoff line is so good; they are the elites they pretend to hate.

Watched some of the game tape. My quick, simple impressions: -DL was trash. I’m not usually hyperbolic, but that was embarrassing. Physically manhandled at the LOS. Sully needs to get himself a better DT real fast. Seiler, Phillips, Biggers, all terrible. Did a DE even play? All were invisible. -QB Willis. Not good. Doesn’t see the field well. Can’t throw with anticipation. I’ll give it a few weeks, but you can’t be an effective QB without field vision and being able to anticipate throws in the NFL. Sacks he took were mostly on him and terrible decisions. - LB Rodriguez will be good. He’ll get no help this year with this awful DL, but he’ll be good once you upgrade what’s in front of him. -CB Johnson is going to get picked on a lot this year. He’ll make some plays and will likely be fine long term, IF, he can keep his confidence long enough until this DL is upgraded. He won’t get much pass rush help from that group. -OG Proctor was not good. He needs to pick it up. Missed too many stunts/twists. Played too high at times. How is the OL getting fooled by twists after two months of practice? I’d practice that 20x a day. 🤦‍♂️ DL and QB will hold this team back unless this gets better. You won’t be able to judge the LB’s or secondary with this front. And you wont be able to accurately judge these WR’s unless the QB gets much, much better. ✌️ My two cents.

This statement completely absolves my constituent Davey Hearn of Trump’s fraudulent prosecution against him for vandalism. It implicates Trump who gave a $15 million no-bid sweetheart contract to his Mar-a-Lago pool guy to do the bungled rush-job on Trump’s stupid scheme. Trump must pay for Davey’s legal bills and apologize in public. Now that the “Strait of Warm Ooze” cases have been solved, US Attorney Jeanine Pirro, the avowed enemy of vandalism against government property in D.C., can turn her skills to the criminal bulldozing of the East Wing of the White House, which cost us hundreds of millions of dollars, and defacement and desecration of the Kennedy Center by a desperado graffiti narcissist. We have some great leads in both cases! nytimes.com/2026/09/11/clima…
