Not many will probably see this. Been off twitter for over a week and its been great. Putting the phone down, cutting down the times I pick it up, cut out social media. Even the times of boredom have felt good. Felt more calm and peaceful. All this negative stuff in the world I can't fix. Arguing with bots, fake stories, watching live genocide, made up everything, everything needs a fact check. I think it drains us all. Will be my last post for a while. All the best to you all.

Iranโ€™s Revolutionary Guard says the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz is not linked to ongoing talks with Oman. IRGC spokesperson Hossein Mohebbi said the strait would only be reopened under conditions set by Iran โ€” including the United States accepting those demands. The comments come after a U.S. official said talks involving Iran and Oman had made progress and could lead to the reopening of the key shipping route. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, meanwhile, said Tehran and Muscat were close to reaching an agreement on a shipping route through the strait. The Strait of Hormuz is a vital global energy corridor, and its disruption has affected oil exports and international shipping. #Iran #StraitOfHormuz #Oman #IRGC #MiddleEast #IranWar #Oil #Shipping #Geopolitics #WorldNews #BreakingNews

Itโ€™ll never not be funny to me that the original โ€œTo Catch A Predatorโ€ show was canceled in 2008 after Chris Hansen and Dateline NBC discovered an Assistant District Attorney in Texas trying to meet up with a 13 year-old, arrived at his home, them witnessed him blow his brains out on camera. LMAO.

Trump brags that the US government is looting Venezuela: "To the victor belong the spoils." Barely any international pushback. We've completely normalised US imperial conquest.

Did you know China has 55 ethnic minorities? That their right to practice their cultures are enshrined in law? That they are given extra points in applying to national universities? That many of their written scripts are used on public signs?

Why people always get shocked when they come to China for the first time? Because in many places in the West, for example in the UK, they are still using videos from over 20 years ago.
Donโ€™t go to China It will ruin the rest of Asia for you Shenzhen is better than Bangkok in just about every tangible metric: cheaper, safer, significantly better infra, much higher GDP, better air quality, overall a significantly higher quality of life Itโ€™s hard to not compare other places in Asia using China as a benchmark China numba one

Today, the Sanaa forces (Houthis) launched a series of attacks with rockets and kamikaze drones against pro-Saudi Arabian militias in Yemen, located in the Yemeni province of Hadramaut, which is controlled by a presidential council close to Saudi Arabia. In one military camp alone, at least 45 fighters from the "Shield of the Homeland" pro-Saudi militia were killed. There were also casualties in other training camps that were targeted today.

Reports are emerging of a significant Houthi assault on the Saudi backed Yemen Emergency Forces encampment near Marib, Yemen with several casualties reported. This video purports to show the aftermath of one of the attacks, though it has not been verified. Marib is the internationally recognized Yemeni government's last major stronghold in northern Yemen and is home to critical oil and gas infrastructure. Saudi Arabia has supported government forces there for years to prevent the Houthis from consolidating control over northern Yemen.
