Qatari Family Office Eyes Minority Stake in Inter Al Mirqab, linked to Sheikh HBJ, reportedly sounds out Oaktree as Inter’s valuation climbs on strong financials and stadium plans 🇶🇦 According to Corriere della Sera, a Qatari investor has reportedly expressed interest in buying a minority stake in Inter from Oaktree, with Al Mirqab, the Doha-based family office of former Qatari prime minister Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim Al Thani (known as HBJ), the name circulating among insiders. Sources say contacts with Oaktree are so far only verbal and may not develop into formal negotiations. Al Mirqab did not respond to the newspaper’s request for comment, and it is not the only fund to have approached Oaktree about a minority holding. HBJ, 67, is a cousin of Qatar’s current emir and a frequent visitor to Milan, where part of his family lives. His recent Italian dealings include acquiring 80% of the Via Monte Napoleone 8 building from Kering for 1.1 billion euros in April, followed by the purchase of Villa Certosa from the Berlusconi family for an estimated 350 million euros, completed through Al Mirqab-controlled Constellation Hotels. Inter’s financials add to the appeal, with 2025/26 closing on 518 million euros in revenue and a 22.7 million euro profit, the second consecutive positive result. Together with club ownership of the stadium, this is pushing up valuations: Forbes puts Inter at around 1.5 billion euros including debt, Football Benchmark at 2.1 billion, while some believe Oaktree is targeting an even higher figure. The news comes as Inter and Milan prepare to unveil Norman Foster’s design for the new Milan stadium, expected by the end of October. Relevent Takes Over UEFA National Team Commercial Rights Through 2036 Agency replaces CAA Eleven in eight-year deal beginning after Euro 2028, extending its UEFA club competition partnership 📺️ According to Sportcal, UEFA has appointed Relevent as the exclusive marketing and sales partner for its national team competitions, replacing CAA Eleven after an eight-year run. The new agreement begins in 2028 following Euro 2028 and runs through 2036, covering the men’s Euros in 2032 and 2036, plus the Women’s Euros in 2029 and 2033. It spans sponsorship sales, media rights, licensing, and other commercial rights, with CAA Eleven’s tenure ending once Euro 2028 concludes. UEFA deputy general secretary Zoran Lakovic said the partnership aims to further develop the commercial program around national team football, while Relevent CEO Boris Gartner called it a defining moment for the company. Sportcal reports that Relevent’s commercial performance on UEFA’s club competitions, a rights package it won in 2025 for the 2027-33 cycle, was central to UEFA’s decision to extend the partnership to national teams as well, with that cycle already surpassing previous revenue totals and on pace to exceed 5 billion euros annually. Relevent and UEFA jointly launched Relevent Football Partners in May 2025 to manage the club competition rights specifically. The pairing has shown a willingness to move away from long-standing partners in key categories, with AB InBev reportedly in exclusive talks to replace longtime beer sponsor Heineken, whose last renewal in 2023 was worth around 128 million dollars annually. Relevent itself had earlier displaced Team Marketing, which held Champions League marketing rights since the early 1990s. [Source: Sportcal] #UEFA #Relevent #ChampionsLeague #SportsMarketing

Regulator Warns Two-Thirds of English Clubs Could Collapse Within Months Without Owner Funding IFR report finds 94% of clubs posted losses in 2025/26 amid growing dependency on shareholder cash injections 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 According to Calcio e Finanza, England’s new Independent Football Regulator has found that 66% of clubs across the top five divisions would be unable to survive more than 90 days without fresh funding from owners, with 29% running out of cash within 30 days. The findings come from the IFR’s State of the Game Report 2026, based on responses from 112 of 116 clubs. The report also found 94% of clubs posted a pre-tax loss in 2025/26 despite record overall revenue, with only seven clubs finishing the season in profit. Average Premier League losses more than doubled over five years, from roughly 20 million pounds in 2021/22 to 44 million in 2025/26, while Championship clubs lost an average 22 million pounds, equivalent to 59% of revenue. Many clubs rely on owners injecting funds just-in-time rather than holding reserves, with 67 clubs receiving at least six capital injections between March 2025 and March 2026, and 28 clubs receiving twelve or more, averaging roughly one payment per month. Over 60% of EFL and National League clubs hold liabilities exceeding their asset value, a condition also affecting 20% of Premier League clubs, while 97% of EFL and National League clubs reported negative EBITDA. IFR chair David Kogan said English football’s growth has been outpaced by rising costs, fueling debt and dependency on ownership funding, warning that a significant number of clubs told the regulator they wouldn’t survive if their owners walked away. The report cited past cases including Bury, Derby County, Reading, and Sheffield Wednesday as examples of ownership dependency turning into existential risk. The IFR, created under the Football Governance Act 2025, plans to introduce financial resource requirements clubs must meet by May 2030, while also pushing for better cost controls alongside any redistribution of revenue between the Premier League and lower divisions. New San Siro Clears Key Legal Hurdle as Court Rejects Appeals Lombardy court dismisses five challenges to stadium sale, allowing Inter and Milan to push toward 2031 completion ⚖️ According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Lombardy’s regional administrative court has rejected five appeals filed by citizens and associations against the sale of the current San Siro and surrounding land to Inter and Milan, clearing a major legal hurdle for the new stadium project. Four of the five appeals were dismissed on procedural grounds, while one was rejected on its merits, with judges citing what they described as abuse of process given the shifting number of claimants and added grounds raised over the years. The sale contract remains valid, though all rulings can still be appealed to the Council of State by April 6, and a separate investigation into alleged bid-rigging by Milan prosecutors continues. With this obstacle cleared, the timeline can now move forward. New renderings from architecture firms Foster + Partners and Manica are expected between late October and early November, followed by a Strategic Environmental Assessment decision anticipated by mid-December, focused largely on the project’s environmental impact given the scale of excavation and demolition involved. The overall project carries a price tag of 2.3 billion euros, including roughly 700 million for the new 71,500-seat stadium itself, 400 million for a hotel, shopping center and offices, and another 400 million in financing costs under the project-financing structure. Questions remain over the fate of the current stadium site, with plans ranging from partial preservation of sections to a fully green redevelopment of the surrounding area. Approval is targeted for completion by summer 2027, with construction aiming to finish by June 2031, positioning the stadium to host matches during Euro 2032 should Italy’s bid succeed. Friedkin Group Weighs Full Sale of Everton US owners open to exiting club entirely two years after takeover, pending a satisfactory offer 🔵 According to The Athletic, the Friedkin Group is now considering selling 100% of Everton, a shift from their original plan to simply bring in minority investors. The group, which also owns Roma and Cannes, would only proceed with a sale at a price deemed satisfactory, otherwise retaining full control for as long as necessary. Everton confirmed the Friedkins are evaluating investment options including a possible sale of a controlling stake, stating the club’s financial stability is now secure enough to consider its next chapter, and that any new owner would need to be seen as the right custodian for the club. The Friedkins acquired 94% of Everton from Farhad Moshiri in December 2024 via Roundhouse Capital, subsequently refinancing much of the club’s expensive debt at lower rates secured against the new Hill Dickinson Stadium. Former NBA coach Jason Kidd and billionaire Christopher Sarofim later bought minority stakes in Roundhouse during 2025. Separately, the Friedkins are also pursuing an NHL expansion franchise in Houston, valued at roughly 3.5 billion dollars. [Source: The Athletic] #Everton #Friedkin #PremierLeague #ClubOwnership

Ligue 1+ Faces Uncertain Future as France Reopens TV Rights Bidding Clubs push for new tender two years early amid revenue concerns, offering cautionary signal for Serie A’s upcoming process ⚽ According to Calcio e Finanza, Ligue 1+’s future is already uncertain, with France’s professional football league preparing to reopen bidding for TV rights covering 2027-2032, two years ahead of schedule. LFP Media director Olivier Bramly has reportedly informed the league’s board of plans for a new tender, with approval expected October 20 and the process starting in early November. A new contract could begin as early as August 2027, meaning Ligue 1+ might lose broadcasting rights after just two seasons. Clubs are driving the push, frustrated with revenue since beIN Sports’ exit, which previously paid 78.5 million euros per season for a single match. Despite surpassing one million subscribers, the platform leaves most clubs with only a few million euros annually after production costs. Many hope a new tender attracts major players like Netflix, Amazon, or Canal+, willing to pay more for a comprehensive rights package. Lille president Olivier Létang voiced concern over finding a sustainable path forward, while PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi argued the current model makes little sense without guaranteed minimum revenue for clubs. The tender doesn’t necessarily end Ligue 1+, as one option involves handing an operator exclusive distribution rights rather than selling broadcasting rights entirely. Still, uncertainty looms, especially with distributor contracts expiring at season’s end. The situation offers a cautionary signal for Serie A, which plans its own rights tender for 2029-2034 starting late 2026. Italy’s current cycle generates roughly 900 million euros per season, below both its original target and the previous cycle’s average, with questions remaining over potential bidders and DAZN’s future role. Hellas Verona Submits New Stadium Proposal to Municipality 300 million euro, 30,000-seat venue targets 2031/32 completion with eye toward hosting Euro 2032 matches 🏟️ According to Calcio e Finanza, Hellas Verona has submitted its feasibility document to the city for a new stadium, formally kicking off the process required under Italian stadium law. The plan calls for demolishing the current Bentegodi and building a new 30,000-seat multifunctional venue on the same site, with investment estimated around 300 million euros. Funding will come primarily from the club's ownership, with public backing expected for components carrying broader urban impact, mirroring other projects developed under Italy's Stadium Law. The venue aims to meet international standards, bringing fans closer to the pitch, ensuring full accessibility, and expanding hospitality options. Designed for year-round use, it would include restaurants, retail space, event areas, a club museum, and facility tours. Before settling on this plan, Verona evaluated alternatives including renovating the existing stadium or relocating elsewhere in the city, ultimately concluding that rebuilding on the same site offered the best balance of feasibility, timeline, and community benefit. Completion is targeted for the 2031/32 season, pending approvals, positioning Verona to potentially host Euro 2032 matches. During roughly three years of construction, the club plans to temporarily expand its Olivieri facility to host home games, with that site eventually also hosting four pitches for youth and women's teams. The project was developed with advisors including Gensler, Arup, KPMG, and Linklaters, coordinated by Colliers. Beyond construction-phase job creation, the club expects the new stadium to diversify revenue through hospitality, sponsorships, and non-football events, strengthening its long-term financial footing. The proposal is now under municipal review. [Source: Calcio e Finanza] #HellasVerona #StadiumDevelopment #Euro2032 #SerieA

Turkey Suspends 448 Club Executives in Expanding Betting Scandal Trabzonspor and Besiktas officials among those sanctioned as federation intensifies crackdown on football gambling 🇹🇷 According to Calcio e Finanza, the Turkish Football Federation has provisionally suspended 448 current and former club executives as part of an ongoing betting investigation, including Trabzonspor president Ertugrul Dogan and Besiktas vice president Hakan Daltaban. The federation said those involved placed bets while holding their positions over the past five years, covering individuals who worked across Turkey's top two divisions during 2026/27. All 448 have been referred to the disciplinary commission, with roughly 171 having served in Super Lig clubs. Dogan acknowledged previously holding a betting account, stating he had disclosed it to authorities, and argued betting firms had simply sponsored clubs without anyone foreseeing issues, denying any wrongdoing on his part. The suspensions add to a broader crackdown that began last year, when a similar scandal led to suspensions for roughly 149 referees and over 1,000 players, along with arrests over illegal betting and match-fixing. Separately, Turkish authorities also detained the head of the country's refereeing body and six others on Tuesday over alleged interference in referee assignments. 🏟️ According to Sky Sport, BolognaFiere and Bologna FC have struck a deal to build the club's new stadium, a 35,000-seat venue designed to host more than just football. Thanks to a movable roof and a relocatable pitch, the stadium will be able to clear its central arena for concerts, trade fairs, and conferences beyond matchdays. The project carries an estimated price tag of 300 million euros, with completion targeted for spring 2031, putting Bologna on track to move into the new venue for the 2031/32 season and potentially host Euro 2032 matches. The site sits in BolognaFiere's northern district, already earmarked for exhibition expansion, and will benefit from a dedicated highway exit, train stop, nearby ring road access, a new tram connection, and ample parking. Architect Eloy Suárez of Studio SHESA and engineer Massimo Majowiecki of MJW Structures, both with strong international track records in major stadium design, are leading the initial phase. The stadium forms part of a larger vision for the BolognaFiere area, aimed at building an integrated district blending exhibitions, sport, and entertainment while boosting Bologna's international standing in live events. Bologna CEO Claudio Fenucci called the agreement a key first step toward a modern, multifunctional stadium capable of generating long-term resources for the club's sporting ambitions. He pointed to plans for high-quality standards combining live matchday energy with digital technology and hospitality, describing the venue's versatility as a unique asset for Bologna's global appeal across sport, culture, and entertainment. Beyond BolognaFiere and owner Joey Saputo's backing, Fenucci noted additional investors aligned with the city's development vision will be needed. Roma Faces Likely UEFA Fine Over Financial Fair Play Breach Club awaits November verdict with European competition exclusion still a possibility for 2027/28 season 🟡🔴 According to Calcio e Finanza, AS Roma is awaiting a UEFA ruling on its finances after missing a budget target set in a settlement agreement signed four years ago over Financial Fair Play breaches. The Club Financial Control Body is expected to rule in November, with Roma bracing for a fine while hoping to avoid harsher consequences. The matter reportedly came up at the European club assembly in Copenhagen, where Roma president Dan Friedkin spoke briefly with UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin about both the club's finances and its new stadium project. Friedkin reportedly explained the reasons behind missing the target, pointing to Roma's gradual loss reduction in recent years and future revenue prospects tied to potential Champions League qualification and the stadium's completion. The summer transfer window also played a role, with Roma choosing to keep its core squad intact to support coach Gian Piero Gasperini rather than pursue sales before the June 30 deadline. The most likely outcome is a fine between 10 and 15 million euros, possibly paired with restrictions on the club's European squad composition. A tougher scenario, exclusion from European competition in 2027/28, hasn't been ruled out entirely, though talks with Ceferin reportedly offered some reassurance that the harshest penalty could be avoided. AC Milan Reports 24 Million Euro Loss Despite Revenue Growth European competition absence ends three-year profit streak as club advances new San Siro stadium project 🔴⚫ According to Calcio e Finanza, AC Milan closed the 2026 fiscal year with revenue of 464.6 million euros but swung to a net loss of roughly 24 million euros, ending a three-year run of consecutive profits. The downturn traces largely to Milan's absence from European competition, which cost the club an estimated 70-80 million euros that capital gains couldn't fully make up for. Still, the club's revenue base has expanded significantly under RedBird ownership, up 56.1% from 297.7 million euros back in 2021/22. Against more recent seasons, revenue came in 1.7% above 2023/24 but 6% below the previous year. Sponsorship income crossed 100 million euros for the first time in club history, while ticketing revenue and capital gains also contributed to the top line. Milan again led Serie A in average attendance, drawing over 72,000 fans per match, and the club's brand value hit a record 514 million euros, up 28% year-over-year according to Brand Finance. Net financial position climbed to 145.3 million euros from about 92 million the year before, reflecting heavier use of credit lines to fund investments, while net equity remains positive at 176.4 million euros. Ownership kept spending on the sporting project regardless, with Gerry Cardinale personally involved in summer additions like Gonçalo Ramos, Diego Moreira, and Mario Gila. Milan's broader strategy under RedBird continues centering on its new San Siro stadium project, following the November 2025 land acquisition, which the club views as key to boosting matchday and commercial revenue long-term. Turkish Football Referee Body President Arrested in Interference Probe Investigation targets referee assignment and scoring processes, following separate betting scandal from previous year 🇹🇷 According to Al Jazeera, Turkish authorities have arrested the president of the country's football refereeing body along with six others over allegations of interference in refereeing procedures. Justice Minister Akin Gurlek confirmed the arrests Tuesday, citing investigations into claims of manipulation in referee classifications, assignments, scoring, and appointments. Ferhat Gundogdu, who leads the refereeing body, and his deputy were among those detained, with searches carried out at their homes and offices. Gurlek said the effort reflects an ongoing push for clean football and accountability for those undermining trust in the sport. The arrests follow a separate scandal from a year earlier, when the Turkish Football Federation suspended 149 referees over an illegal betting scheme that implicated hundreds of officials and led to 29 arrests, including several footballers. Inter Reports Second Consecutive Profitable Year With 22.7 Million Euros Club returns to positive net equity as commercial growth and reduced financial charges drive improved results ⚫🔵 According to Il Sole 24 Ore, Inter has posted its second straight profitable season, reporting a net profit of 22.7 million euros for 2025/26, following the prior year's 35 million euro result and bringing combined two-year profits to 57 million euros. Net equity has swung back into positive territory at 10.4 million euros, up from negative 12 million euros the year before, marking a notable improvement in the club's financial footing after years of strain. Revenue came in at 518 million euros, the second-highest in club history behind the 567 million euros posted in 2024-25, a season lifted by extraordinary factors like the Club World Cup and a Champions League final appearance. This year's gains reflect steadier recurring income and a 4% cut in production costs, roughly 20 million euros. Commercial revenue climbed 7%, fueled largely by merchandising under Inter's new partnership with Fanatics, while matchday income per event also rose. Player trading profits increased by 11 million euros, and amortization costs on player registrations fell by 8 million, pointing to more efficient squad management. Financial charges dropped nearly 50%, saving 19 million euros, thanks to prior refinancing that swapped costlier debt for cheaper financing. Despite the improved numbers, Inter has kept investing, launching infrastructure upgrades at both its Appiano Gentile training center and the Konami Women & Talent Center. Though still behind Premier League clubs in revenue terms, Inter's results show a growing capacity to turn on-field success into financial stability, an increasingly necessary balance for staying among Europe's elite. UEFA Raises Alarm Over English Transfer Market's Growing Dominance Report warns of rising debt and profitability risks as Premier League clubs pay nearly five times European average per player 💰 According to Calcio e Finanza, UEFA has voiced concern over the English transfer market's outsized influence, pointing to financial risks tied to increasingly costly Premier League deals. The warning comes from UEFA's "The European Club Talent and Competition Landscape" report, where finance director Andrea Traverso flagged the risks of pricey transactions concentrated in English football. English clubs accounted for over 60% of market activity this summer, paying an average of roughly 24 million euros per player, nearly five times the 5 million euro average seen across other major European leagues. The Premier League's window featured several deals exceeding 100 million euros, including Morgan Rogers' move from Aston Villa to Chelsea, Elliot Anderson's transfer to Manchester City, and Sandro Tonali's switch to Tottenham. Traverso noted transfer values keep climbing sharply in England, driving up future amortization costs. While transfer profits currently cushion the impact, he warned this makes clubs increasingly reliant on continuous market growth and liquidity to sustain the model. He also pointed to a rise in transfer-related debt, as many deals are paid in installments while clubs sell receivables through factoring for short-term cash, deepening dependence on future revenue to cover past spending. UEFA further warned of growing market polarization, describing an emerging "two-speed" system as the spending gap between English clubs and the rest of Europe widens. Traverso cautioned this imbalance could turn problematic if buyer demand slows, transfer values correct, or credit conditions tighten. New San Siro Project Carries 2.3 Billion Euro Total Cost Detailed breakdown reveals stadium, real estate, and infrastructure expenses as Inter and Milan target 2032 completion 🏟️ According to Calcio e Finanza, project documents show the new San Siro stadium and its surrounding redevelopment will cost Inter and Milan a combined 2.302 billion euros, covering land, construction, infrastructure, and financing. The stadium itself is priced at 583.7 million euros, rising to about 707.9 million once the podium beneath it is included. Total construction spending of 1.11 billion euros also covers a mixed-use district worth 371.4 million and a 31.1 million euro energy center, with underground parking as the single largest item at 121.2 million. Road work centered on the new Patroclo Tunnel adds 57.3 million euros, plus 12.4 million to demolish the old one. Another 84.7 million covers public park land, temporary security, and managing construction while the current stadium stays in use. The 197.1 million euro purchase of the Meazza and surrounding land, finalized in November 2025, breaks down into the stadium, land, and development rights, netting to roughly 175.1 million after deductions. Ancillary construction and technical costs total 455.2 million euros, including a 136.8 million contingency fund, while financial charges and guarantees add up to 381.7 million euros. Weighed against these costs, the project's overall value is estimated at 2.567 billion euros, with the stadium alone valued at 2.149 billion by 2032. That leaves a projected gain of about 264.9 million euros, 11.5% of total pre-tax costs, though the figures remain preliminary. Friedkin Group Set to Address UEFA Multi-Club Ownership Rules Blind trust for Everton emerges as possible solution as Roma and Everton both eye European competition 🇮🇹🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 According to Calcio e Finanza, the Friedkin Group is reportedly preparing to align its ownership structure with UEFA's multi-club rules, following a reminder from European football's governing body on limits affecting commonly owned clubs. The Times reports UEFA re-explained its regulations to Dan Friedkin and Roma executives last month. The issue also touches Everton, acquired in December 2024, since clubs under shared decisive influence can't compete in the same European competition. The scenario nearly materialized last season before resolving itself, with Roma reaching the Champions League and Everton finishing 13th, missing Europe entirely. Should both clubs qualify for the same competition in future seasons, one could lose out on tens of millions in prize money and related revenue. The Friedkins had previously mentioned exploring a "structural solution" without adopting a blind trust, the approach used by groups like City Football Group and Ineos in similar cases. One option now under consideration involves placing either club into a blind trust, handing management to independent parties. Everton is seen as the likelier candidate given the family's deeper ties to Roma, owned since 2020. Such a move would require separating the club from daily oversight and shared resources, notable given the group's Pursuit Sports structure, created to coordinate operations across its clubs, which also include Cannes. The situation adds to broader questions about the Friedkins' Everton investment, with reports noting a less close relationship with the English club and suggesting TFG may seek new investors there, though the scope remains unclear. Telefónica Secures All LaLiga Matches on Movistar Plus Through 2032 1.65 billion euro deal with DAZN expands coverage to full 38-matchday season as broadcaster also locks in Champions League rights 🇪🇸 According to Superdeporte, Telefónica has reached a deal with DAZN securing every LaLiga match on Movistar Plus through 2032, paying 1.65 billion euros over five seasons to complete its round-by-round coverage. The agreement is non-reciprocal: Telefónica can carry the five fixtures per matchday awarded to DAZN for 2027-32, but DAZN cannot broadcast Movistar Plus's package. The deal is also non-exclusive, allowing DAZN to resell its rights to other operators, as it previously did with Orange. Telefónica will pay an average of 330 million euros per season, an 18% increase over the 280 million euro figure in the 2022-27 agreement, which covered only 35 matchdays compared to all 38 in the new deal. Telefónica and DAZN split LaLiga's TV rights equally last November for the 2027-32 cycle, each securing five games per round, in a tender that raised the annual value to 1.05 billion euros from 990 million, totaling 5.25 billion over five seasons. Telefónica will pay clubs 2.635 billion euros, while DAZN contributes approximately 2.615 billion. Movistar Plus currently pays around 527 million euros annually for its own packages, meaning the additional 330 million brings its total LaLiga spending to roughly 857 million euros per year. Subscribers will access five matches through Movistar's football channel and five through DAZN's platforms, available both integrated and sold separately. Beyond LaLiga, Telefónica has also secured men's UEFA club competition rights, including the Champions League, for 2027/28 through 2030/31, in a deal worth 1.464 billion euros, or 366 million euros per season. DAZN Strengthens Leadership Team Ahead of Potential IPO Streaming platform claims first profitable year in 2025 as it appoints new COO and CFO with public markets experience 📈 According to Calcio e Finanza, DAZN has announced three new leadership appointments while preparing for a potential stock market listing, alongside claims of reaching profitability for the first time in 2025. The streaming platform, which holds Serie A rights in Italy through 2029, called the milestone significant given years of prior losses. Official 2025 figures aren't out yet: the last filed accounts cover 2024, when DAZN reported revenue of roughly 3.2 billion dollars and a loss of 936 million dollars, an improvement on the previous year's 1.4 billion dollar deficit. Under CEO Shay Segev, three executives now report directly to him. Patrick Delany takes over as Chief Operating Officer, overseeing daily operations, subscriber growth, pricing, rights negotiations, and content, after previously leading Foxtel Group, whose acquisition and integration he steered following its purchase by DAZN. Alex Gersh joins as CFO, replacing Darren Waterman, bringing over 25 years of experience including guiding Sportradar through its NASDAQ listing. Waterman shifts into a newly created Chief Business Officer role focused on strategic partnerships. These moves come as DAZN works toward a potential IPO, a plan that's been in discussion for some time. The Financial Times reported the company recently set up a new Cayman Islands holding structure to boost financial flexibility ahead of future fundraising or a public listing, with Gersh's IPO background fitting squarely into that strategy. The company continues expanding, having acquired ViewLift and EverPass this year, renewed key rights deals, integrated FIFA+, and pushed further into the US market. The EverPass deal brought RedBird Capital, TKO Group Holdings, and the NFL's investment arm into DAZN's ownership structure. Segev described the company as entering a new phase of profitable growth, now operating across more than 200 markets. [Source: Calcio e Finanza] #DAZN #IPO #Streaming #SerieA
