“In these challenging times
We became aware of how our pedagogical values are important and why it matters”
How do we stay with the trouble as a collective? What will we take up as urgent and necessary.? what dispositions will we cultivate in children and ourselves ?

Generative dialogue about PN w/ @NardaNelson + @Bo_Sun_Kim who urge us to consider PN as a way of composing ourselves with our work in a way that highlights our concerns + dispositions + values @EcpnBc @ECEBC1 @CapUecce
So much to think with as @Bo_Sun_Kim + @NardaNelson remind us that PN is not about re-enforcing an ideal It's a particular way of listening to the relations that exist between/with children and the world. Dwelling on this:" What knowledges do we value?" @ECEBC1 @EcpnBc @CapUecce

If we're going to build universal child care, we're going to need a lot more ECEs! We're investing in the creation of a second child care centre at @CapilanoU that will double as a research and student training hub in early childcare education.

A complex+compelling dialogue about the collective life of our Children's Centre with @sylvia_kind @CrisDvintimilla Resonating question: "What moves us to make pedagogical decisions?"The act of making a decision means to compose yourself with something... @EcpnBc @CapUecce

Love the radical idea of overhaul and the attention to the undervalued position of care in relation to children and families: would like more emphasis on the child/infant as they are, rather than in relation to where they need to be at 5...

Another @EcpnBc conversation with @sylvia_kind and @CrisDvintimilla sharing our historical events/stories from almost a decade ago that continue to disrupt and shape our pedagogies+ teacher subjectivities."The pathway you choose impacts the experience"

Contemplating the intersection of aesthetics and pedagogy. How do we defamiliarize what we know in ECE and think with the unforeseeable? Thanks to @YorkUeducation and @CrisDvintimillia for hosting this beautiful dialogue with @sylvia_kind and #LorenzoManera.
