One trading day cost him ₹99 lakhs.
The mistake wasn’t recklessness. It was believing too strongly in his own view.
@raahi_bhushan sold his EdTech company to BYJU’S and thought trading would be the next chapter.
His first trade made him ₹40 lakhs, and for a while, it felt like he had figured it out.
Then the market kept going up when he was sure it would fall. He held. And held. Until one day he closed the position down 99 lakhs.
He stopped, sat with it, rewrote everything from scratch. No mentor, no courses, just option math and a lot of bad months turned into a system that works.
Hasn't had a single loss-making month this year.

#HDFC Bank Q4 Results
Net profit came in at ₹19,220 Cr up 9% year-on-year.
Quiet beat, no drama.
Asset quality improved. Gross NPA dropped to 1.15% from 1.24% last quarter.
Net NPA at 0.38%, down from 0.42%. The book is getting cleaner.
Provisions fell to ₹2,610 Cr vs ₹2,837 Cr last quarter — the bank is setting aside less for bad loans.
That's confidence, not carelessness.
Interest earned dipped slightly YoY (₹76,600 Cr vs ₹77,460 Cr). Worth watching as rate cuts play out.
Overall it is a positive quarter. Profit up, asset quality better, provisions down. HDFC Bank is doing the boring things right.
Angel One Q4 FY26 dropped yesterday. Stock +10% today.
Revenue +38% YoY, PAT +84% YoY. Client base +20.5%, orders +31.6%.
But here's why the stock is actually flying:
FY26 was the SEBI F&O clampdown year. Lot size hikes, weekly expiry cuts, margin tightening. Full year PAT still ended down 22%.
Q4 is the first clean quarter post-adjustment. The discount broker model survived the reset.
On top of that board cleared ₹20,000 Cr borrowing limit + ₹300 Cr into wealth and NBFC arms. They're pivoting beyond pure broking.
Market is treating FY26 as the trough and pricing in what comes next.
SEBI just gave companies six months of relief to cut IPO size by as much as 50% without going back through the full paperwork loop.
That sounds procedural, but it really isn't. It is the market admitting that demand can disappear faster than documents can update.
The interesting part is not the rule itself. It is what the rule quietly reveals. Even before listing day, issuers now need something traders understand very well: optionality.
For years, IPO storytelling in India has followed a fixed script. Big number, strong demand narrative, scarcity language, roadshow confidence, and then the market decides whether that confidence was real.
This change moves some of that truth earlier. Now the first markdown can happen inside the issue itself, not after listing but before it.
I like that because it is more honest. A lot of public-market theatre comes from pretending the original number was sacred. It wasn't. It was a market offer, and market offers should adjust when the market changes.
The cleanest way to read this is simple. Price discovery has started invading the IPO draft.
That is probably healthier than forcing everyone to protect ego, optics, and stale assumptions all the way to listing day.
If an issuer can trim the offer by half and still call the process orderly, what was the original number measuring in the first place?
Mastek Q4 FY26 is out.
What the Q4 shows: Revenue ₹244 Cr vs ₹233 Cr YoY → +5% PAT ₹57 Cr vs ₹20 Cr YoY → +184% EPS ₹18.44 vs ₹6.51
PAT looks huge. But ₹23 Cr of that is dividend from subsidiary and ₹8 Cr is forex gain. Strip those out and it's a modest quarter.
The results are positive the UK order book inflow more than makes up for the flat standalone print.
Bajaj Consumer Care Q4 FY26 is out.
Revenue ₹306 Cr vs ₹234 Cr YoY → +30% PAT ₹46 Cr vs ₹25 Cr YoY → +83% Gross margin +802 bps to 60% EBITDA margin: 11.8% → 18.6% EPS ₹3.44 vs ₹1.82 → +89%
Almond Drops finally did double-digit volumes. Sachet sales revived rural consumption tell. Banjara's integration flowing through.
Operating leverage is real. Revenue +30%, expenses only +21%. That's the jaws.
FY26 full year PAT: ₹127 Cr vs ₹94 Cr → +34%.
Crisil Q4 CY26 is out.
Consolidated revenue: ₹1,057 Cr vs ₹813 Cr → +30% YoY Consolidated PAT: ₹233 Cr vs ₹160 Cr → +46% YoY EPS: ₹31.90 vs ₹21.86 → +46% YoY
But here's the split everyone will miss:
Standalone (ratings business) revenue +18% YoY. Standalone PAT actually DOWN 13% YoY (₹113 Cr vs ₹130 Cr).
The entire consolidated growth is being carried by the Global Research & Analytics arm. Ratings is flat-to-weak.
Stock entered this print down 34% from its July 2025 high.
Headline positive. But read the split before reacting.
Govt just blocked all gold & silver jewellery imports from April 1. No licence, no entry. No grace period either.
Titan, Kalyan, Senco don't import finished jewellery. They manufacture here. Their cheap import competition just got kneecapped.
But raw gold supply through regulated channels stays open.
Akshaya Tritiya is weeks away. If bullion supply gets tight due to regulatory chaos, input costs spike right when demand is peak.
The market priced in the benefit. It hasn't priced in the supply risk yet.

Waaree Renewable Q4: Revenue ₹1,102 Cr vs ₹477 Cr.
More than doubled.
But EBITDA margin collapsed 770 bps to 18.8%.
Growing the book is easy in a solar EPC boom.
Protecting the margin is the actual test.
Concall tomorrow will tell you which story management is selling.
Wipro Q4 results out.
Profit: ₹3,500 crore (up from ₹3,120 crore QoQ)
EBIT margin: 17.3% vs 14.83% QoQ beat estimates
Revenue missed estimates by a thin margin. Organic growth still soft. Acquisitions are doing the heavy lifting.
The real watch now: Q1 FY27 guidance.
Street expects -2% to +1%. Anything above that = stock rerate.
Buyback at ₹250 gives the stock a floor near current levels. But a floor isn't a ceiling without growth guidance surprising to the upside, the move stays capped.
buyback buzz keeps it supported.
guidance decides whether ₹250 is a ceiling or a launchpad.
Wipro buyback announced.
₹250 price. CMP ₹210. 19% premium.
What happens to the stock:
→ Runs toward ₹235-240 before record date
→ Corrects post-record date (every buyback does this)
The catch nobody mentions: retail quota is 9 crore shares vs massive demand.
Acceptance ratio will be low. You don't pocket the full ₹250 on your whole holding.
₹41,500 crore cash pile, returning ₹15,000 crore. Management is telling you they don't see a better use for capital right now.

₹60,000 vs ₹5,90,000. That's the gap between an average person in Bihar and an average person in Goa.
Same currency. 10x the income.
The national average is ₹2.1 lakh, but almost no state actually earns that. Goa, Sikkim, Delhi, and Chandigarh are pulling the average up. Bihar, UP, and Jharkhand home to 35 crore Indians are pulling it down.
We talk about India's GDP growth like it's one story. The map tells you it's at least 28 different ones.
Which state surprised you the most?

HDFC AMC Q4 out.
Missed on both counts.
PAT: ₹623 Cr vs ₹644 Cr expected.
Revenue: ₹1,051 Cr vs ₹1,056 Cr expected.
Not a blowup. But the street was expecting more and didn't get it.
One silver lining ₹54/share final dividend.
Post the 1:1 bonus in November, that's still a decent payout.
Below expectations.
Wipro results today.
Headline revenue looks decent. But organic growth is actually -0.7%. The DTS acquisition is carrying the number.
Margins up too but that's the rupee falling, not Wipro getting efficient.
Real watch: buyback announcement. Last one was ₹12,000 cr at ₹223. Stock sitting at ₹209 right now.
And guidance. If Q1FY27 comes in negative, the stock gets hit hard.
Don't trade the headline. Watch guidance + buyback.
We recently launched CapMint Learn. A library of trading education, real trader stories, and market analysis.
Most people who want to learn trading don't know who to trust. Brokers have a conflict of interest. Finance influencers are selling courses. "Educational" content is usually just a funnel.
Building CapMint Learn taught us something: great trading education comes from those who actually trade.
We built it because we think traders deserve better. Honest market education from people who are in the same position as you. No agenda, just what's actually happening in the markets and how to think about it.
