Canadians see these headlines daily, every single black and brown is given the lightest sentence possible. Most never even serve jailtime.
OMG. Gethin Edward, a Canadian judge and "indigenous scholar," just sentenced an indigenous man to ONLY TWO YEARS in prison after he killed 12-year-old Sierra Beverly while drunk driving.
Why?
Because he says the driver suffered from "colonialism" and wouldn't be able to "regain his culture" if he were in prison for too long.
This is what "justice" looks like in Canada.
