Proof before listing.
DAV VERIFIED® connects the physical cask held in bonded warehouse custody with independently verifiable digital evidence.
The bonded warehouse remains the authoritative source of truth. The digital record follows it.

Our Glencadam 17 Year Old Réserve de Calvados, released earlier this year, has already earned recognition from two highly respected awards, a fantastic achievement for its first competitions.
With notes of baked apple, heather honey and cacao, this is a memorable dram to savour as the autumn evenings draw in.
Have you had the chance to try it yet?

CannyCask is bringing cryptographic verification to a centuries-old physical asset: the whisky cask.
Every cask listed on CannyCask must first pass DAV VERIFIED® — checked against the bonded warehouse record and cryptographically verified before listing.
The model is simple:
Physical cask → bonded warehouse source of truth → DAV VERIFIED® → digital ownership record on Polygon → institutional wallet infrastructure with BitGo.
Buyers can purchase whole physical casks using traditional payment methods or USDC, with the digital record remaining aligned to the warehouse-confirmed ownership event.
The important part?
The blockchain never replaces the cask or the warehouse. It provides the evidence layer.
That means buyers can independently verify key provenance and ownership evidence instead of relying solely on documents, emails and promises.
Real-world assets don’t need to stop being real to become digitally verifiable.

🤝 Paid partnership
Buying a whisky cask shouldn’t require blind trust.
What do you actually buy?
Where is it held?
How is it verified?
How does ownership transfer?
We’ve put the full CannyCask process in one place.
DAV VERIFIED® → bonded warehouse custody → warehouse-confirmed ownership.

Why did I build CannyCask®?
Because buying a whisky cask shouldn’t require blind trust.
And this is where our work with Trossachs Cooperage gets really exciting.
Together, we’re exploring how traditional cooperage craftsmanship can connect directly with verifiable digital identity.
Next: BabyCannyCask™ — a ~25L cask linked directly to its full-size parent, using NTAG424 DNA and key provenance evidence publicly verifiable on Polygon.
Then the physical bit: BabyCannyCask™ is being designed with its stand, tap and 316 stainless components around a pour-at-home experience — subject to applicable Scotch Whisky, duty, customs and delivery requirements.
Traditional cooperage → parent cask → BabyCannyCask™ → cryptographic proof → your cask.

Whole Scotch whisky casks, held in HMRC-regulated bonded warehouses. Not fractions.
DAV VERIFIED® means we compile the cask record and cryptographically sign it. The warehousekeeper checks it against their warehouse records and countersigns. Only then is it listed.

Many crypto holders are running their own security operation without realizing it.
Seed phrases, hardware choices, recovery plans, and the hope of never slipping up under pressure all land on one person. That's a big job.
BitGo can take that off your plate.
With BitGo custody, your assets stay in cold storage, protected by multi-sig and MPC key security and segregated under regulated custody.
Insured against theft and loss, with audit trails and detailed records of every holding.
Trade, stake, or HODL for the long run.
