Seeing President Trump, Vice President Vance, the First and Second Ladies and Cabinet members standing alongside President Xi’s delegation (who look like my ancestors). I was closely watching our American leaders’ faces and I think they were feeling the same way I was. Watching the great members of our military march and perform. Seeing this up close at the White House right there in the Rose Garden. On a personal level I can’t believe how blessed I am to be a member of the White House Press Pool in a time such as this. …because my soul gets to be touched & reminded in moments like these how insanely beautiful it is to be an American.
