From the very Government who was found guilty twice of violating those rights and freedoms.
Today, we give thanks for Canada – for the rights, freedoms, and opportunities we share, for the care Canadians show one another, and for the future we are building together. Prime Minister Carney wishes everyone a happy Thanksgiving. pm.gc.ca/en/news/statements/…

#BREAKING: Mark Warner says that signing an agreement with Mark Carney and the Liberals is an economic suicide pact. This will not attract steel, aluminum or auto manufacturing under the Canada Investment Plan again. No one will ever invest in @Canada.

This idea that you can't disagree with or call out the evil, abusive, misogynistic Islamic religion, is peak mental illness. No one complained when I called out Catholic child abuse & the cover-up. But apparently criticizing Islam & the violent abuse against girls & women, is a bridge too far. Boko Haram, Iran & the Taliban are only a few examples of how evil Islam is, to girls & women.
Hate and Islamophobia have no place in political leadership. Interim BC Conservative Leader Lorne Doerkson must hold his party accountable and immediately remove campaign director Katy Merrifield. People in British Columbia deserve leadership that rejects prejudice and division.

This is a disgusting abuse of power. Canadians should be given the choice on whether or not they want to become a dumping ground for Euro-Poors.
Mark Carney: "In three weeks, the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and the President of the European Council, António Costa, will be in Montreal. And that is when Canada will launch a new transformative alliance with the European Union."

🚨 THE SUPREME COURT JUST EXPOSED THE LIE For YEARS Liberals said @PierrePoilievre “refused” a security clearance.🤔 The truth? It came with a PERMANENT GAG ORDER. He would have been legally silenced from ever telling Canadians what he knew. He didn’t refuse the clearance. He refused the muzzle. And he was RIGHT. 🍁 #CdnPoli #Poilievre #TheyLied

Another company warns it will leave Canada Signal is the encrypted messaging app whose entire selling point is that nobody, not the phone company, not the police, not even the company itself, can read your messages. And Signal is now warning it may leave Canada. The reason is Bill C-22, the Liberals' so-called Lawful Access Act.

Last year, Canada welcomed more than 405,000 newcomers – the most we’ve ever welcomed in one year. We're building on that and setting higher targets in the years ahead, because immigration is critical to growing our economy and helping businesses find the workers they need.

BENCH RECEIPTS FAVORITE- JUDGE WHO BLOCKED SPENDING FREEZE TIED TO $128M NONPROFIT PAYOUT MACHINE. U.S. District Chief Judge John J. McConnell Jr. ordered federal grant cash to keep flowing to blue states, ruling Trump’s spending freeze violated the Constitution. What he didn't highlight in court: his 18-year reign at a state nonprofit sustained by those very federal pipelines. Under 28 U.S.C. § 455, federal judges are legally bound to recuse whenever impartiality can be questioned. Instead, McConnell held the gavel while the state funding his pet project sued.

I have an idea. What if the corporate lobbyists appearing on television or radio had to disclose on the air any relevant conflicts of interest before commenting on the news? For example, if a person working for firms like Rubicon, Teneo or TACT appeared on CBC or CTV, they had to disclose that they make money lobbying Mark Carney? That way when these lobbyists support any specific politician or policy, the audience has adequate information to assess the credibility of their commentary? What do you guys think?

In 1982, a young Turkish sponge diver named Mehmet Cakir came up from a dive off the southern coast of Turkey and told his captain he'd seen "metal biscuits with ears" on the seafloor. The captain knew archaeologists had been showing sponge divers drawings of ancient finds and asking them to report anything they saw. So he reported it. Those "biscuits" were copper ingots, cast in a flat shape with handles at the corners. They had been sitting on the bottom for about 3,300 years. It was the Uluburun shipwreck, and it's one of the most important finds ever made from the Bronze Age. Over the next decade, divers made more than 22,000 dives to excavate it, working as deep as 200 feet. What they brought up was a snapshot of the entire ancient world at once. About 10 tons of copper and about 1 ton of tin. That's not random. Mix copper and tin at roughly ten to one and you get bronze. This ship was carrying the raw material for an army's worth of weapons and armor. But there was much more. Ingots of cobalt blue glass. Elephant tusks and hippo teeth for ivory. African ebony. Ostrich eggs. Amber from the Baltic. Jars of resin used for incense. Gold jewelry. Swords and daggers from several different cultures. The cargo came from Egypt, Canaan, Cyprus, Mycenaean Greece, Mesopotamia, and beyond. One ship, carrying pieces of half the known world. There was also a gold scarab with the name of Nefertiti on it, the Egyptian queen. And there was a small hinged wooden writing board. Its two leaves would have held wax you could write on. The wax was long gone. But it's one of the oldest examples ever found of the form that would eventually become the book. Nobody knows who owned the cargo. Some think it was a royal shipment, a gift from one king to another. The ship sank around 1300 BC. About a century later, the whole Bronze Age world fell apart. Kingdoms collapsed, cities burned, and trade networks like this one disappeared. That makes Uluburun a picture of something that was about to vanish. The ancient world at its most connected, sitting at the bottom of the sea.

The first diet the American rebels ever agreed on was to stop eating lamb, and they did it to break an English law about sheep. England had guarded its wool like a state secret for centuries. Under a statute of 1566, a man caught shipping live sheep out of the country lost his goods, spent a year in prison, and then had his left hand cut off in the market place and nailed up for people to look at. A second offence was death. In 1699 Parliament turned the same instinct on its own colonies. The Wool Act made it illegal for an American to send wool, yarn or cloth out of the colony it was made in. A farmer in Massachusetts could not sell a blanket in Connecticut. America was to grow the fleece, and buy the cloth back from England. For 60 years the colonies put up with it. Then came the Stamp Act, and they hit on an answer that needed no musket. They stopped killing lambs. Every lamb left alive was a fleece next spring and another the spring after. In February 1766 Benjamin Franklin stood in front of the House of Commons and told the members, politely, that his countrymen had entered into general combinations to eat no more lamb. In 1768 the graduating class at Harvard voted to collect their degrees in American cloth. In 1774 the Continental Congress made it national policy. The colonies would improve the breed of sheep, increase their number, and kill them as seldom as may be. Two years before the Declaration, the founding document of American resistance was a breeding programme. They understood that a country with its own flock dresses itself, feeds itself, and can afford to be rude to a king. They ate the sheep in the end. They ate them old, as mutton, which was the better dinner anyway.

Grifters will tell you wind is green. They forget to tell you about the 100–200 tons of steel rebar, 600–800 m³ of concrete buried forever, rare-earth magnets from toxic processing, and fibreglass composite blades that mostly end up in landfills. Net Zero is a scam

I don’t care what section 15(2) of the charter says; for every person with a functioning brain knows it’s racist to exclude white people from employment.
Replying to @dubsndoo
In Canada, section 15(2) of charter allows for preferential hiring so no it is not racist. As for what is happening in South Africa those are crimes and perps should be arrested. But whites complaining about racism is just fragility.
