Well how about that
They redid the chart, but it still pains me to point out that something *very* specific happened in 1978-79 to facilitate a second major spike in inflation. And it's unlikely to happen again. wapo.st/3YT6iED

Damage report: Through yday… I lost about 1/4 of my remaining sol position that was collateralizing low leverage perp longs (3x) . Every single trader w leverage higher than 2x across all exchanges was liquidated in that move. But I managed to get some funds on coinbase and add more $Zec at 180… so reminds me of this one from my time trading Eurodollar futures in 2008. My boss had a plaque on his desk that read : I am bleeding but not slain I shall lie me down to bleed some Then rise to fight again One lesson I’ve taken from 20 years in tradfi is to respect relative strength in a downturn. I’m officially now a Zec convert bowing down to Muad Dib. Lisan Al gaib

Do we think a massive influx of crypto wealth in the People's Republic will increase or decrease the demand for private cryptographic transactions?

Don’t worry, team. This only affects 70% of the residential mortgage market.
Regulator Mark Calabria says Fannie and Freddie can go for 12 more weeks, but if widepared mortgage forbearance goes longer than that, they'll need another taxpayer bailout. They're levered 240:1 ft.com/content/575e818e-c35a… via @financialtimes

I still think the economy’s going to fall off a cliff here, and was (am) skeptical of this rally, but I will say credit markets are normalizing somewhat. Forcing me to ask the question- are we already pricing in the recovery before the recession even begins?
