Today we begin our dive into the F-5 variants with the legendary T-38 Talon!
The Northrop T-38 Talon was the world’s first supersonic jet trainer, and it’s still in service more than 60 years later. Even wilder, NASA uses T-38s as astronaut proficiency jets, meaning many astronauts fly a 1960s-era trainer to stay sharp before heading to space.

Hey @joebarnard , how do you clean your mixing bowls after mixing propellant? Just buck it into the dish washer?
I wonder if the camera feed lines were cut, excuse me, melted? I assume that the fin burn through happened to both fins 🤔
Rise and shine!

Maybe it’s just me, but I were to launch a spacecraft with astronauts on board I would want to have the best shot of success and fix the leak. I’m sure the tools they used to analyze the leak for any potential danger are fantastic and do their job well. However, we still live in a world where mishaps happen. Would hate to have an accident happen that could be prevented.
The crew access arm swings into position so the Blue Team, comprised of ULA and @BoeingSpace personnel, can configure #Starliner for @Commercial_Crew astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams to board the spacecraft for the #CFT mission on Saturday. bit.ly/av_cft
Don’t get me wrong, I want this program to be a success! It will help serve as inspiration for young engineers and astronauts alike.
The added benefit of a second vendor to get astronauts to space is also good, let the bidding war begin. As well as the competition to get the best vehicle into service.
I have been working on organizing my inventory of parts, but I have a strong disinterest of tracking inventory via a spreadsheet. Does anyone have a recommendation of an inventory manager that is not directly related to a storefront? (some solutions I have found are for tracking orders and store inventory, not really what I want)
TIA!
