We have confirmed an EF-0 tornado with 75 mph winds just east of Eastpoint, FL on October 9th, 2026 around 5:45 pm EDT. This was from an outer band of Hurricane Isaias.

Thanks in part to Hurricane Isaias, drought across Florida is at its lowest level in more than a year, with only 25% of the state in moderate or severe drought. The Panhandle is now completely drought-free, and Weatherstem stations captured the storm’s rainfall totals across the region. Fort Walton Beach High School recorded 7.69 inches of rain.
