Really just a despicable, egregious misrepresentation of the motion. The motion recognises the Palestinian right to resist occupation. That is an absolute right under international law. This is nor controversial or hard to understand... except if you're trying not to understand
“The Greens are more extreme than mainstream Palestinian opinion - they’re saying violence is now legitimate.”
The Green Party's ‘Zionism is Racism’ motion calls for “the eradication of the Israeli state”, says @Freedland.
“And they’re happy to see that achieved by violence”.

Harsher statements about a Green Party motion than a genocide your party won't even acknowledge. Telling.

5Pillars has been sent photographs of a leaflet reportedly being distributed across Camden which makes allegations about Labour’s by-election candidate Sagal Abdi-Wali and her alleged links to pro-Zionist Labour figures.
The leaflet makes claims about Abdi-Wali’s political associations and highlights her relationship with Camden councillor Izzy Lenga, including a claim that Lenga received training with the IDF.
5Pillars contacted Abdi-Wali for comment on the allegations, as well as her views on Zionism, Palestine and the Gaza genocide, but have received no response to date.
Abdi-Wali, running for the Holborn & St Pancras seat, has faced criticism during the campaign after failing to attend a Muslim-led hustings in September, while subsequently attending a Zionist Jewish hustings organised by the Board of Deputies of British Jews and the London Jewish Forum just days later.
At this time it remains unclear who created the leaflets.

The Greens have an anti-Zionist leader & believe Zionism is racism. They have the support of many anti & non-Zionist Jews, who constitute 1/3 of British Jewry.
Anti-Zionism is a Jewish ideology, developed by Jews, which suggests that Jewish & global safety & security is best served by diverse, vibrant Jewish communities across the world rather than by an ethno-nationalist, racist Jewish state. And if you doubt Israel is a racist apartheid state, remind yourself that it & apartheid SA are the only countries identified as such by the world’s highest court. And that Archbishop Desmond Tutu & Nelson Mandela believed that Israeli apartheid was more brutal than South Africa’s.
Local Muslims would like an honest explanation.

Is the Labour Party lying in The Guardian about a grassroots Muslim organisation in Camden? And why isn't the Guardian fact-checking during an election?
In a profile of Sagal Abdi-Wali today in the newspaper it mentioned that she didn't attend this week's hustings organised by the Camden Muslim Network. She was empty-chaired and the picture was widely spread on social media. The event was attended by Zack Polanski (Greens) and Patrick Stillman (Lib Dems).
This is how she explains why she didn't show to the newspaper:
"Her nonattendance at the hustings was due to a last-minute invitation and a prior obligation, she says."
I thought this was very strange so I contacted the Camden Muslim Network. They confirmed she was invited five days before the event and sent me a copy of the invitation (included here).
