my pitch for sonic 4 is that there's a subplot where wade accidentally stumbles into sonic's world for a sideplot that seems completely unrelated until the third act battle where he arrives in the future riding a dinosaur with a hot mobian wife

We’re absolutely going back to green hill zone/Sonic’s world in movie 4. That’s the ‘hill’ I’m dying on.

I've just started blocking accounts that do callout posts over trivial stuff now cuz I never wanna be around those types of people. I don't wanna live in a world with more fandom cops

the UK government wants to send people to prison for liking fictional choking roleplay porn now so forgive me if I do not care about someone's problematic interests ever again (unless they're like, legitimately hurting people obviously)

it's so funny because every time I talk to a non-fan about Street Fighter they don't give a damn about Ryu or Guile but characters like Q or Dudley always get a reaction. Capcom's got a ton of instant hit characters they just refuse to touch cuz they believe too hard in nostalgia

im fascinated by this friction as the IP gets older where the corpos still feel handcuffed to SF2 memberberries in order to satisfy a vanishingly small consumer demographic, but by doing so becoming increasingly offputting to people who dont have fond memories of The Goonies

of course the other half of this conversation is that if you show anyone under 30 who doesn't know fighting games both Darkstalkers and Street Fighter they will inevitably think Darkstalkers sounds cooler. I am biased but also I'm basing this on real anecdotal evidence

I tried that Deadlock game... probably not my genre but like the vampire girl is hot and I like how the Steam Controller 2 was blatantly designed with this game in mind. Seeing Splatoon style always-on gyro natively in a PC game is awesome

I didn't know this! Apparently, if you hold the Start button after winning Round 3 with Chun-Li, you can make her blush during her winpose. Neat! Source: Game Restaurant gere.web.fc2.com/01_3rd/02/3… #3rdStrike

I know it's a hill to die on but when people are like "how does censorship affect your ability to do magic series into launcher" it just sounds exactly like the Marvel Infinite "characters are just functions" controversy
