There were only 2 games in Britain in season 04-05 than finished 7-1.
Rangers V Dundee United and Man City V Barnsley.
The same two goalkeepers played in both games - Ronald Waterreus for Rangers and City, Nick Colgan for Dundee Utd and Barnsley.

Jimmy Speirs played for Rangers between 1905–08 before moving on to Clyde, Bradford City (pictured below) and finally Leeds City. He scored the winning goal in the 1911 FA Cup Final.
A recipient of the Military Medal for bravery, Jimmy served with the Queen’s Own Cameron Highlanders before being killed in action at Passchendaele on 20 August 1917, aged just 31. 🇬🇧🏴

What a special performance 🌹
The Band of The Royal Regiment of Scotland performed Jimmy's Song (Sing for the Boys) in St Andrews Square during today's Edinburgh Poppy Day 2026. A special song to remember professional footballer Jimmy Speirs who volunteered to fight for his country in World War I and was killed in action at the Battle of Passchendaele.
We will remember 🌹

🚨 BREAKING: The Government has officially approved the Jackdaw gas field for North Sea drilling
It's the UK’s largest known untapped gas reserve and will start to supply gas to British homes and businesses from the end of this month
Wow 🤦🏻♂️
I know people are worried about fuel prices. And I get it. You get to the pump, watch the numbers climb, and wonder why it's costing so much more than it used to.
The reality is that global events are pushing up costs, and families here at home are feeling the impact.
But I won't accept that there's nothing I can do to help.
That's why from today, you'll be able to see petrol and diesel prices on Google Maps, compare nearby stations and find the cheapest option before you fill up.
It's a small change, but if there's a practical way to help people keep more money in their pocket, I'll do it.

👏 The double recognition reflects the collective efforts of the squad and staff, with the Gers winning all five fixtures in September, including four in the league.

Simon Jordan defends Sir Jim Ratcliffe against criticism from the Man United Muslim Supporters Group over his comments on immigration and benefits in the UK.
Simon says he’s allowed to have a view and having an issue with immigration in this country does not make you a racist, and it has nothing to do with the Muslim community.
He says people who decide to take offence then throw names around and call you a bigot, a racist, or someone who aligns themselves with Tommy Robinson, just because you have a view.
Simon then challenged the group to go on talkSPORT and debate him. He said they won’t, because they put out statements knowing most people won’t push back. They’re terrified of the subject and of being cancelled.
Well done to Simon for calling this out. What Jim said is true, and most of the country agrees.
Let’s hope they take Simon up on his offer and debate him. He’s clearly not scared to address the subject and call their nonsense out.

🚨 CAR CRASH INTERVIEW: ANDY BURNHAM DEFENDS DUMPING MIGRANTS IN EVERY TOWN BY CLAIMING RISK IS FAIRLY SPREAD!
Watch Prime Minister Andy Burnham completely fall apart on camera trying to defend his chaotic border policies.
Stammering, stuttering, and visibly terrified of his own words, Burnham actually tried to justify Operation Scatter by claiming that spreading unvetted arrivals across every single town in Great Britain makes it fair!
Think about the sheer insult of that logic.
His grand solution to local residents feeling unsafe on their own streets is not to stop the boats or deport illegal entrants, but to ensure that every single community in the country is forced to suffer the exact same risk!
The only fair policy is not scattering thousands of unvetted men into quiet British villages and towns.
The only fair policy for British taxpayers is detaining them and removing them from our country entirely.
Burnham cannot govern, cannot answer basic questions, and is turning Great Britain into an administrative disaster. The mask has completely slipped.
Watch this humiliating trainwreck and RT and SHARE everywhere to demand real border security NOW! 🇬🇧🔥
