Topline results from the ADDRESS-LC trial have been released. The story here appears to be: 1. subgrouping and 2. signal identification. It needs to be noted that the overall trial population did not reach statistical significance on any individual endpoint. Heterogeneity has been a continued barrier to finding treatments for Long COVID and other complex chronic illnesses. We are trying to find treatments for highly varied patient populations within one diagnosis, and that is unlikely to get us where we need to go. But what this trial points to in terms of design is something of real significance: when researchers looked at pre-specified groups based on baseline symptom burden, a much clearer treatment signal emerged. A meaningful treatment effect in one group can become much harder to detect when everyone is analyzed together. The finding I am particularly interested in is post-exertional malaise (PEM). PEM remains one of the most disabling and underserved areas of Long COVID and ME/CFS, with remarkably few therapeutic programs specifically targeting it. In ADDRESS-LC, patients with high baseline PEM showed statistically significant improvements across PEM, fatigue and objective cognitive measures. These are exploratory subgroup findings and need prospective confirmation. But that is exactly what signal-finding studies should help us do: identify a signal and determine where to go next. For PEM, we may now have a signal worth pursuing. Digging deeper into the biology shared by these patients, and hopefully advancing this signal into a prospective Phase III study, is exciting to consider. @CODA_research investors.bioviepharma.com/n…

The only thing that’s guaranteed in trading is that you’re going to be wrong. I get it wrong all the time. The best traders you’ve ever studied are wrong. A lot. Stop obsessing over being right. It doesn’t matter. If you lose $100 when you’re wrong and make $300 when you’re right... You can be wrong more often than you’re right and still come out ahead. That’s the game. Your job isn’t to prove you’re smarter than the market Your job is: To accept when you’re wrong Keep the loss small Give your winners room to pay you The best winners are the best losers. Learn how to lose.

I share the results of this weekly scan on every end of the week session (Saturday/Sunday) because my primary focus each week starts with this names. Let me dissect down why we should keep an eye on these leaders for opportunities in both swing and positional trading: 1. Strongest Stocks In Growth Rate: These stocks have latest quarterly sales and EPS growth exceeding 25% year-over-year. 2. Technical Filter: Only a 50-day MA filter is applied. If the fundamental strength leads to tradable price action, let the stock set up naturally. I also imposed a volatility 1M 3% filter for 2 reason, 1) to remove stocks that already with announced merger & acquisitions eg. $SWAV $NVEI will appear, 2) clear linearity for tradable price action 3. Industry Group Sorting: Purpose is to identify any dominant industry groups based on the latest quarterly earnings. It also allows to streamline your focus any particular RS groups, as dominant trends often move in groups of stock. 4. Watchlist Management: This group of stocks will remain on a separate watchlist until their price action falls below the 50-day moving average, or their next announced quarterly earnings/sales fail to maintain the growth rate. 5. I need to emphasis this is not an actionable scan. If you go through the list and is someone that likes to enter on pullback-base reset; only $OUST $TGTX $TDW $MMYT have price action resetting itself. Having said that, some of the extended names have already appear in this weekly scan every week since as early as weeks or even months ago, so just remain diligent and monitor the result every week. $OUST $FSLR $GGAL $HASI $TGTX $GH $TDW $MMYT $CRDO $ASPN $NXT $ENVX $RSI $BBIO PS: Personally the adjustable filter in my settings I would adjust are; Float, Average Vol merely to constraint the result to within 20 names. If you reduce the Price above lowest low 52w of 70%, you get laggards in your result eg. $FOUR which may not be optimal to focus as a strongest name within the group.

Opening Range High (5-minute ORB) entries have a very high failure rate if the stock hasn't even reached 100% RVOL by that point. That's one of the reasons I don't recommend trading right at the open. The odds are stacked against you. You're often dealing with wider spreads, greater execution slippage on both entry and exit, and higher transaction costs, all while taking the risk against the odds and probability.

Most traders are coming to the market with what I call a "Money Maker Mindset" (MMM). - They want to make money fast. - They want to make money all the time. - They want to make money now. But that's not how trading works. Trading is a SEASONAL BUSINESS. - Your trading strategy does not work all the time. - Your trading strategy will not provide you money all the time. - Your trading strategy will produce a delayed outcome. My trading typically work like this: - I do nothing or my equity curve does sideways for weeks and month. - My strategy starts to work and I get good setups. - I make 25-50% return on my capital, sometimes more in just 3-4 weeks. No trading time is no wasted time, it's free time. You can enjoy your life, do homework and be ready when your edge comes back. I personally want to trade only in EASY DOLLAR markets. Markets where all my setups are working fast, money is rushing in my account and it feels a bit like free money. If trading feels hard, frustrating and exhausting, something is wrong. And it's YOUR job to notice that and stop trading in these times. Because it's like @801010athlete said: Your pain is 100% self induced! You can always work on that and I helped a lot of traders to develop that kind of mindset over the last years. So I know it can be learned. But it's a hard way to focus only on the process and forget the outcome.
Uncomfortable truth . . . Any stress you’re feeling right now is 100% self induced from oversizing, overtrading, tilting & not following a process. The market is just doing its thing and she’s not going anywhere. She’s just a little temperamental right now. Chill out, have a coffee, and come back to her when she’s in a better mood.

Fascinating new research from @PlzSolveCFS: What is going on with T cells in Long COVID and ME/CFS? 🤔👇 In this talk, researchers Dr. Liisa Selin, Dr. Ayano Kohlgruber, and Dr. Roshan Kumar discuss their newest work, arguing that dysfunctional T-cells are driving MECFS and Long COVID. They examined the CD8+ T cells of patients with these diseases, and found signs of clonal expansion - which only happens when the immune system is chronically exposed to an antigen. 🦠 Clonal expansion can happen in response to a foreign antigen (such as a virus or bacteria), however it can also happen in autoimmunity, where the immune system has accidentally recognized part of the person's own body as "foreign." They also identified signs of exhaustion in these T cells- meaning that they're becoming worn out trying to fight these antigens, whether they're foreign (as in the case of chronic infection) or self-antigens (as in autoimmunity). In MECFS and LC patients, they found their CD8 tells were able to produce much lower levels of Interferon-gamma and TNF-a compared to healthy controls.🧪 Previously, Dr. Selin and other researchers had studied an experimental, nebulized treatment called Inspiritol (unfortunately it is not available to patients at this time). In this new work, the team tested Inspiritol's effects on these exhausted T cells in-vitro, and found it was able to greatly improve the cells' function. **Other Chronic Pathogens** Dr. Selin explains that once you have the overactivation and subsequent exhaustion of the CD8+ T cells, it impairs the immune system's ability to keep other chronic pathogens that may be in the person's body under control. This is why patients with these diseases may have a reactivation of herpesviruses such as EBV, CMV, HHV-6, enteroviruses, tick-borne illnesses, and more.🦠 **Identifying T cell Targets** In the future stage of the work, this team will use technology developed by Dr. Kumar and his company that seeks to identify exactly which pathogens these T-cells are targeting. Knowing the cause of this abnormal clonal exhaustion will help us to understand exactly why this process is occurring, shedding light on the underlying cause of LC and MECFS. ✨It's pretty exciting to see these advances occurring! Although it may not always seem like it, we get closer to the answers every day!✨ 1/

My guest today is Paul Tudor Jones (@ptj_official), one of the greatest macro traders of all time. He correctly predicted the 1987 stock market crash and shorted the Japanese bubble in 1990. For over 40 years, his flagship fund has had a negative correlation to the S&P 500. 100% of his returns are alpha. He says today's market has so many similarities to 2000, "the easiest bear market I've ever seen in my whole life." He makes the case for going long dollar-yen, why Bitcoin beats gold as an inflation hedge, and why he was wrong about Warren Buffett. But what I'll remember most from this conversation is Paul's zest for life. He's 71 and still wakes at 2:30 every morning to trade the London open. He works out for two hours a day. He walks with his wife every evening. He travels the country chasing peak spring and peak fall. He's so excited about the songs picked for his funeral that he wishes he could be there to hear them. Paul has lived five lifetimes in one. He's one of the most entertaining and interesting people I've met, and the conversation will leave you searching to be as passionate about what you do as he is about what he does. Enjoy! Paul Tudor Jones says the US is more dependent on equity prices than ever, and explains what a 35% correction would trigger in the economy: "We're 252% of stock market cap to GDP. In 1929 we were 65%. In 1987 we got to ~85-90%. In 2000, 170%. If you think about the periodicity of significant bear markets. Since 1970, we get a mean reversion about every 10 years. Let's say mean revert to the past 25 or 30-year PE. That would be a 30, 35% decline. Well, 35% on 250% of GDP is 80, 90% of GDP. 10% of our tax revenues are capital gains, they go to zero. So you can see the budget deficit blowing up. You can see the bond market getting smoked. You can see this kind of negative self-reinforcing effect. In the stock market, we're over-equitized as a country. We have the highest individual equity weightings in the history of the country. And then the real problem is if you look at private equity in 2007-2008, that was about 7% of institutional portfolios. Now it's about 16% of the institutional portfolios. We're so much more illiquid than we were in 2008. The problem is that if you buy the S&P at this current valuation, the 10-year forward return is negative when you buy the S&P with a PE of 22. That's what history shows. So yes, the S&P is spectacular long-term, if you have a hundred-year view. But that's because that's an average of a hundred years, including times when the S&P 500 PE was 6, 7 and 8, or one third of what it is right now. Valuation matters a lot, and the stock market's really high and it's gonna be really hard to make money from here with any kind of long-term view."

Most traders have no rule for when a loser leaves the portfolio. The average winner held 8 days, the average loser gone in 24 hours — that asymmetry is the whole game. Ariel Hernandez anchors this framework with a Dan Zanger quote and builds it into something concrete: use the average as your stop after a 6–7% move, and let the math do the rest. Winners run. Losers get cut before they can argue back.

(+1.32σ…nice cool-off with today ) Let’s keep it simple, right?
