When you’ve passed the incident, the car is on fire, you know you’ve got to get it back to the fire truck in pit lane or it’ll be toast, THEN you overtake the Safety Car.

It doesn't always go your way in motorsport & last night was one of those times. We were making excellent progress in a tough class. A podium was looking very likely. Until it wasn't. Sadly we pulled up & didn't finish.
We're at Paul Ricard for the Sixties Endurance night race on Saturday. Friday is free practice and a qualifying session tonight. Great to be back in the Morgan SLR

The curfew kicked in before race 2 today but we had a blast in race 1. Class win and fastest lap. The Indy circuit is unbelievable fun on a bike.
That leaves us with 3 races tomorrow in blistering heat and I can't wait. @WithamMSport

Nice little piece in the @BRDCSilverstone Bulletin today. Be very interesting to learn if anyone knows of someone else who has won championships on 2 and 4 wheels in the same year. @WithamMSport
Now I was able to give it full beans and get some temperature into the tyres. I could really start to take some corner speed and begin to feel the downforce at work.
With no imposed rev limit I was able to lap Silverstone at a respectable pace given the circumstances and could really feel the excitement of racing one of these amazing cars.
Whoever buys this car will own an amazing piece of Formula One history.
