It wasn't like he was hard to find, he had a favourite spot in the park.
It may now have afire extinguisher just sitting by that tree, which he has no clue what to do with, but it was still his favourite spot.
Well, considering the two of them had reunited, the being could return to being idle.
"Don't... lose him again."
His voice rumbled and he shot them a samll wave and a nod, turning to head back to his spot.
After observing for a moment, a quiet sigh left the tall figure.
"Why are you crying... like that?"
It was surprising that he was a CEO, he didn't exactly give off the vibes. But then again, he had been wrong about humans before.
His hand stopped for a moment to look at the spot where he was bitten, his eyes scanning over it.
"I don't know... I couldn't... feel it."
His fingers ruffled the other's hair lightly, his head tilting to the side almost showing a slight bit of curiosity.
"Do you like it?"
"Is it that... odd?"
He wasn't sure what could be considered odd. Everyone's opinions on it seemed to vary. Though... Si Shen found it quite cute, even moving his hand to pat Sirius's head lightly.
Glancing over... Is the other upset about something...?
"Why...?"
He's not even pulling his hand back, just letting it happen.
The scene made even Death frown slightly. How strange...
"I'm guessing...?"
He didn't finish the question, only looked at the small creature for comfirmation.
With a light nod the being snapped the extinguisher off the leash. That thing was heavier than the dog... How did the little creature even manage to drag it around?
Leaving the piece of junk where they sat, the tall man put the dog on his shoulder and followed it's directions.
Upon hearing that someone had tried to sacrifice Sirius, the beings irises shrunk sharply and his grip on the other became tighter. Though his face didn't show it, these small changes made him appear... Angry?
"They were too... busy fighting among... themselves to notice their-
-fate. An agonizing... one."
There was a lesson there somewhere about paying attention and focusing on what mattered, but Death didn't focus too much on it. After all, he was too busy collecting planets full of souls.
"Endless wars... Conflict... And a cult that finally decided... To blow up the sun."
Cults were the absolute worst. Why couldn't any of them just be about worshipping puppies or something?
His eyes moved to look at the other calmly, observing him from up close.
A large hand moved to give the other a few comforting headpats. Lucky's hair was surprisingly soft...
"Me? I... did some working... then tried out human... life."
A light nod. He couldn't understand the decision, but he felt like it might be rude to ask.
"Understood."
There were so many that would do anything just to glimpse at their loved ones one more time. How strange that the one in fron of him denied the chance.
"If not speak... to them, simply see where... they are. It's... possible."
Perhaps it will bring Lucky some joy to know where his siblings were now. A quick peek in the afterlife. Usually that came at a cost fo their sight for mortals, but such a price could not be -
Death might have heard of something like that, but he didnt connect the dots quite, since it wasn't him personally that took care of it.
"I'm glad they... are okay."
He nodded slightly. Though, he might not look like it, there was a feelign of relief somewhere in that-
Huh, interesting, usually it's not this easy to get a response from creatures... But regardless of what, the being stood up, avoiding low branches of the tree. He would have to, his 7'0'' stature was... intimidating.
"Do you wish to... walk or be... carried?"
