Religion that keeps the lost away:
1) Confuses looking holy with being useful
2) Spends its energy correcting the crowd it never joined
3) Has more critics of sinners than friends who are one
God went looking for the lost. He didn't post the rules and wait.
You can quote 5 verses, know 3 creeds, and still be unmoved.
Information about Christ fills a notebook.
Being deepened in him wrecks a life.
One is study.
The other is surrender.
The mistake: treating Jesus like a subject instead of a person.
1) Subjects get memorized. Persons get argued with.
2) Subjects are answered. Persons are near.
3) Subjects change what you know. Persons change what you love.
Faith grows in the argument, not in the avoidance.
You can't pick your principal.
You can pick your moves.
Recap emails, your own log, and one saved-up fight for the kids beat arguing in the hallway every time.
Nobody needs all six.
Which two are yours?

Teachers, no child is unlovable. These 7 practices make Christian love concrete...even when behavior hurts.
6/7
Step 6: Repair after everyone settles.
→ What this means: Ask, “Who got hurt? What needs fixing?”
Help replace supplies or practice different words.
Skip forced public apologies.
When you snap, own it: “I raised my voice. That wasn’t okay.”
Model grace with accountability.
Teachers, prayer won’t replace school safety protocols.
These 10 practices pair private prayer with practical action.
Step 9: Remember Ruby Bridges’s example.
→ During school integration in 1960, Bridges prayed amid racist threats. Adults still owed her protection. Honor that distinction: document harassment and follow reporting procedures rather than spiritualizing harm.
Step 10: Close the day without claiming control.
→ Write three lines: what happened, what needs follow-up, and what can wait. Pray over tomorrow’s responsibilities. Leave unresolved problems on paper instead of rehearsing them all evening. #teachers #schoolsafety #mentalhealth
