PRESS STATEMENT
INEC’S APPARENT COLLUSION WITH THE APC IS PUSHING NIGERIA TOWARDS ANARCHY IN 2027

Dear @realFemiOtedola,
You locked the comments because a full stomach fears the village. "Àwòdì jẹun èpè sanra." The hawk that emptied the poultry now stands in the sun and praises how fresh the feathers look.
Femi Otedola, the average Nigerian’s light, garri, school fees and hospital deposit do not keep you awake. What keeps you awake is how deep your hand can travel inside the common pot before the lid slams. That is the creed of the Nigerian elite: my belly first. The rest of us can go and greet hunger.
It is the same spirit that sold brothers for rum. Grab whoever is nearest. Collect the bottle. Drink until the eyes turn red. Wake and hunt again. The family left behind can cry until the throat dries; the trader has already forgotten their names.
A man who eats from the communal pot and still asks why the soup is thin has no shame left to lose. The child who sleeps hungry does not care about your net worth. He only knows the pot that should have fed him was emptied by men who will never taste his hunger.
You can mute the comments. You cannot mute the stomachs. When the vulture is full, it says the world is good. The village that is empty already knows the truth.
Yours in Animosity,
@BlazeRegent
At a private dinner in Paris yesterday evening with His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, whose bold and forward-thinking reforms have put our economy firmly on a path of sustainable growth.
The results are increasingly evident top Nigerian companies now included on the FTSE Russell Frontier 50 Index, the NGX at historic highs, increased foreign direct investment and renewed economic confidence, a unified and more stable foreign exchange market, foreign reserves standing strong at about $55 billion, and so much more.
I remain proud of you, Mr. President! 🇳🇬

There is a quieter truth we have allowed the drums of propaganda to swallow.
The North has not merely tolerated Peter Obi. It has begun to claim him.
His journey to Sokoto with Kwankwaso was not a performance. It was the ordinary people standing in the dust and saying, without apology, that these two men walk among them. In a country where the man on the throne appears and vanishes like harmattan mist... no one certain of his movement, his concern, or his love.... the people have learned to recognise the one who stays.
A Hausa proverb says: "Komai nisan jifa, ƙasa zai fada" - no matter how far you throw a thing, it still falls to the earth. Power can throw noise, money, and fear as far as it likes. The people still land where they feel seen.
Peter Obi has become that landing place. North and South. Sokoto not excepted. He does not wait for the cameras to identify with hunger. He does not disappear when terrorists visit homes. He does not feast while the honest worker eats last and the idle thief sits at the head of the table. In a land where the hardest hands receive the smallest portion, he has become the voice that still remembers the voiceless.
The Scandinavians say "the tallest tree catches the most wind." Those who stand closest to the people’s pain will always be the ones the powerful try to cut down. That is why the propaganda is loud. That is also why it is failing.
Imagine trying to rig an election against people who have already decided what is theirs. The North does not entertain shenanigans when it comes to protecting what it has claimed. There is another saying: the child the village refuses to embrace will one day set the village on fire just to feel its warmth. These supporters are not waiting to burn anything. They are waiting to be governed by someone who already feels the cold with them.
Go to the mountains. Cross the streets. Swim the rivers. Sail the seas. Carry this simple gospel: there is a man who will not leave the people hungry while he commissions another custom Escalade. Who will not starve the classroom to feed a ₦150 billion jet. Who will not be absent when the night is torn open by gunfire.
Peter Obi is not a private ambition. He has become the common fire. Sokoto has already gathered around it.
A ship that remains in harbour is safe, but that is not why ships are built. The people are no longer asking for safety. They are asking for a captain who will stay on the water with them.

Before you try that stupid agenda you want to cook, P at the back means Pence, not Pound. That is basically £1.99(One Pound, 99.18 Pence)per litre of fuel.
Hourly wage in the UK is £12.71.
That means you can comfortably buy 6 litre of fuel with the money you made in an hour.
Where Is Nigeria’s President?
The dynamic President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, delivered a remarkable address at the 81st United Nations General Assembly. The international community has commended his leadership and the substance of his address. It is a reminder of what leadership can produce when competence, capacity, compassion, commitment and character come together in the service of a nation.
Against this background, many are asking: Where is the President of Africa’s most populous nation, a country of more than 200 million people - more than Ghana - whose leader has been absent from the global stage for three consecutive UNGAs?
Nigeria’s President, who ought to be representing the country and providing leadership for Africa at the international level, has not attended any of these three global gatherings. Where is he, particularly at a time when the country faces significant challenges, both domestically and internationally?
Although our Vice President, Kashim Shettima, was present, the question remains: Where is the President? Let us continue to pray for his return and for his leadership in addressing the many challenges confronting the nation.
A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

I do not know why these words found me tonight. The house is quiet. Memory is not.
Perhaps I miss the years when tomorrow’s meal was never a question, when children's school fees were paid 2 years ahead and giving did not first pass through fear.
In 2014 we got married with almost nothing between us. Still we paid for our hotel rooms and those of the groomsmen and bridesmaids. I paid for my parents, my siblings, my aunties and uncles. The traditional list; everything, including the cow was placed at my feet. My mother handled what little was left. My in-laws paid for the hall. My wife and I paid for every decoration. Her uncle, who owns a big event company, wanted a king’s ransom and would not do it for love. Cousins who bake still sent us throat cutting invoices. Another cousin who owns one of the biggest exotic car-hire companies in the state left us to find our own motorcade. My cousin, the one whose political campaign I had walked through fire with, became Speaker of the State Assembly. On my wedding day he chose the Governor’s wife’s birthday. From that day till this one, not a kobo.
See ehn… marry a good woman.
I have made many decisions in this life. One I never got wrong is my wife. When the road was smooth and when it became thorns, the only person I have always seen is her. She covers me. She protects me. Tonight I am emotional because it broke me to watch her break. She hardly breaks. Sometimes I feel I am failing her, even when she tells me I am not.
These last 5 years have been the hardest of our lives. It has been just the two of us. The same family that never stopped visiting when our table was full of goodies, suddenly lost our numbers when the well ran dry.
A river that dries will show you who was swimming with you and who was only playing at the bank.
I feel I have stretched this woman too far, too long. Yet she is still here. That, perhaps, is the only wealth that has not left.
I do not know what tomorrow holds. I know who holds my hand.

I cried so much last night and this morning. I have seen lots of messages from different people about things I did for them at different times most of which I don’t even remember.
The truth is I have always believed in my heart that the only reason God has given to me is to give it back.
I think this is God’s way of telling me to also be thankful!!! I have been thinking too much about what I lost instead of thanking God for seeing me through one of the hardest moments of my life.
I am used to always giving and hardly ever receiving because everyone thought I had in abundance. I have also always found it difficult to ask for help. Even if I had to borrow from anyone, I would always return with interest, even without them asking. But I was tested in ways I couldn’t understand these past few years. I asked for help everywhere and anywhere I could think of and I was on the verge of giving it all up!
I would mention his name but he would be really upset. God used one person to settle all that I owed! And this help came over and over again! I don’t think any sane person would do what he did for me without God’s intervention!
So this is me also saying thank you Brother! And I will continue to do so again and again, privately and publicly! Thank you for giving me hope when I thought it was all over. I can’t help but think I have taken your love and kindness for granted but I want you to know that I am forever indebted to you.
To my closest people in the World (Mr Macaroni & Friends) Thank you for not neglecting me even when you had every reason to. Thank you for saving me 😊
To Don Jazzy, who has been giving me since my university days up till now, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you do, not just for me but for so many others!!! To my brother Victor Osimhen and Pastor Bolaji!!! Thank youuuu. 🤍
I am in a better place! I am learning and doing things that make me happy. I don’t and will never regret anything I have ever done in my life to make the lives of others better in even the smallest way possible. However, I have learned a lot of lessons these past few years and I am grateful even for the trials and tribulations for which without them I wouldn’t have the clarity of mind I now have.
May the love in our hearts be forever greater than the hate in the world.
Thank you with all my heart. 🤍

Mr Macaroni that I was on my own ranting here about how the month of May was ALWAYS unfortunate for me, and how it already started with ‘Gbese’ as I accidentally damaged someone’s Lexus with my truck while trying to come out of a tight space, and he entered my DM to ask for the total cost of the damage on both cars to handle. Had to beg him to forget my own truck for me to fix. Sent me 600k just like that.
I was in a restaurant when I received that money, and I shed a few tears. Honestly not because I couldn’t afford it, but because I have hardly been a beneficiary of financial help in my life.
Also gave me and my wife $1k each as his birthday gift to us that same year.
Lost count of the times he dashed my workers wads of mint Naira while we were designing his house.
He’s my own celebrity abeg!
Love you Debo 🖤
“Mr Macaroni saw me on set one day, I just finished the two scenes I was called for and he escorted me to my car, he offered to give me fuel money and handed me 200k. Even the person that called me for job for those two scenes only gave me 50k. Macaroni still called me for another job with Pete Edochie another day and gave me 1 million Naira for just a scene”

What genocidal regime gives a million polio vaccinations to the enemy's population?
What genocidal regime enables the distribution of 2 million tons of food into Gaza? That's a tonne for every person.
Accusing Israel of genocide is the greatest lie of the century!

ON THE ANAMBRA DEBT QUESTION
I have remained silent over the past few days because I have been grieving the loss of my very dear elder brother and friend, Chief Okey Ezeibe. However, the time has come for me to address some of the matters that have occupied public discussion in recent days.
I respectfully urge everyone to concentrate on the existential challenges confronting Nigeria and the hardships endured by its citizens, rather than on the needless distractions that have become widespread in our politics.
I wish to assure the public that I have no disagreement with my dear elder brother, Governor Soludo, or with any governor in Nigeria. I am not seeking the office of governor in any state, and I will not seek that position again, even if the Constitution is amended.
Accordingly, I appeal to governors to support whichever presidential candidate they choose while also permitting and assisting other presidential candidates and contenders for other offices to campaign freely and without interruption in their states. Ultimately, voters should be allowed to determine whom they wish to serve them.
Regarding the multilateral funding inaccurately described as “debt owed by Peter Obi” in Anambra State, I wish to state unequivocally:
As Governor of Anambra State, I did not approach any financial institution to borrow funds or issue a bond on behalf of the state. Indeed, at his farewell ceremony, the then Director-General of the DMO, Abraham Nwankwo, appointed me chairman and declared that, during his 10 years in office, I was the only state governor who had not approached him for a loan facility.
When I left office, the Anambra State Government owed no unpaid salaries, gratuities, or pensions. Neither did it owe any contractor or supplier who had completed work that the government had verified and certified.
Regarding development financing from the World Bank, these are concessionary development-support funds secured by the Federal Government for states selected by it to address specific needs. Repayment is spread over 25 to 30 years.
The Anambra State Government must therefore differentiate among three separate figures: the total amount approved for the multiyear development program; the amount Anambra State actually drew during my tenure; and the funding balance outstanding when I handed over on 17 March 2014.
The government has combined these distinct categories, added them together, and described the resulting US$123.77 million as “loans left by Peter Obi.” That is an incorrect application of public-sector accounting.
The eight facilities identified were primarily World Bank and IFAD development programs negotiated by the Federal Government, with participating states receiving access to the funds through subsidiary arrangements. They were not conventional commercial loans that I personally secured during my tenure.
This does not suggest that Anambra had no repayment responsibilities; rather, each facility must be examined in light of its approval, effectiveness, drawdown, and repayment record.
The clearest contradiction appears in the government’s own figures. It states that the original facilities amounted to approximately US$123.77 million and that US$92.35 million remained outstanding in June 2026. However, the DMO’s published records showed Anambra’s total external debt at approximately US$18 million when I began my tenure in March 2006, about US$30 million in March 2014, when I left office, and approximately US$45.15 million as of 31 December 2014, nine months after my departure.
The Anambra State Government must therefore clarify how a state whose recorded external debt was about US$30 million in March 2014 and US$45.15 million in December 2014 could supposedly have inherited US$123.77 million from Peter Obi, who left office in March of that same year.
On the day I left office, I left more than US$150 million as the dollar component of my investment in Anambra State as governor. I hereby provide documents that can be verified with the various banks. Had it remained untouched, this investment was expected to provide Anambra State with approximately US$10 million in annual income.
Even if their assertion were accurate—which it is not—that Anambra owed US$123 million, the government could have used the US$10 million generated annually from my savings to reduce the debt. It has now been 13 years since I left office, which would amount to US$130 million. The debt should have been fully settled by now.
Had they retained the funds I left in the bank, including the compound interest on the principal and the additional income, the total would be approximately US$335 million today. If they had chosen to repay the US$92.35 million funding, the entire amount would have been covered, leaving approximately US$242 million to be reinvested. That sum would have generated about US$20 million annually for Anambra State.
Let me reiterate that, when I left office, I left Anambra State in a strong financial position—the strongest of any state in Nigeria—and I stand by that position.
Through this clarification, I wish to state categorically that I will neither engage nor trade words with anyone regarding my tenure in Anambra State. My focus will now be on issues affecting the suffering Nigerian masses, which is the reason for my presidential ambition.
A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO
