A quick reminder for everyone working on Outlier AI.
I have received reports from approximately three clients who experienced delays in receiving payments through Airtm.
According to these reports, their Outlier payments has been paid but has not reflected.
I cannot independently confirm the cause or whether this is a widespread payment problem but here’s what I suggest you do 👇🏼
Please add a direct deposit account to your outlier account to avoid issues like this 🧏🏼♂️✍🏼🔥
Also, outlier just introduced a mandatory facial verification before tasking. I don’t know why but i will find a solution to it and let you know 📌✅

Now, let’s discuss something many people have been asking about.
What exactly is Prolific?
Prolific is an online platform that connects researchers with people who participate in paid research studies.
Researchers use it to gather information about human behaviour, opinions, experiences, decision-making, technology, and other subjects.
Participants receive financial rewards for completing eligible studies.

Unlike AI tasking platforms that may focus heavily on evaluating AI responses, annotation, or training AI models, Prolific primarily focuses on research participation.
However, it also offers some studies related to artificial intelligence.
What can you do on Prolific?
Depending on your eligibility, you may encounter:

7/ 👤 One thing that makes Workada interesting:
Workada says applicants go through a human interview, and contributors can have a team/pod structure with leads and feedback.
So there is apparently more human involvement than the typical “dashboard + tasks” experience.
8/ 💳 PAYMENT
Workada currently says contributors are paid 3× per week through Stripe.
Your dashboard shows your hours/rate, and the first payment may take longer while Stripe completes setup.
9/ 🌍 VERY IMPORTANT FOR MY AFRICAN PEOPLE:
Workada currently says it accepts contributors based in:
🇺🇸 United States
🇨🇦 Canada
So if you’re in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, etc., don’t waste time trying to bypass the location restriction.
